Intercom System WL888 - 3 Stations White

Old folks, hearing not what it used to be, bodies not what they used to be, moving into a condo with two flights of stairs. Not the smartest move! But we WERE smart enough to buy this three-way intercom system! Love the plug-in-and-use ease of installation! Also that they can be moved around to any location with an electrical outlet! Good product, good price, good for more than just old folks! And - get this - if young folks ever move in next door, we can give them one, along with the responsibility for US! After all, these intercoms WILL operate through a fire wall! Save some steps - buy this easy-to-use intercom system! (And, if you sell your house down the road, you can simply unplug and remove! (Not like the installed-in-the-wall monsters that tell your buyers "this house has been around a long, long time!")

Easy to set up, easy to use. My Wife and I got tired of yelling up the stairs and getting no reply from our pre-teen kids so we got these in the hope it will be less easy for them to claim they didn't hear us. So far so good! I have all 3 units set to the same channel and code so we just have to push one button to talk to both kids. The audio is clear and loud, and they can respond just as easily. The distance between our units is less than 30 feet so I can't speak to the range but for our purpose these units are great. The seller contacted me via Amazon's system the day after delivery to inquire as to the safe delivery of the item, explaining they had received some reports of rough handling during transit/delivery. I replied that mine had been delivered in good shape and that I had installed them but had not yet configured and fully tested them. I think they slightly misunderstood that and thought I had experienced problems during setup, offering a few tips and assistance with setup. After I replied that I did not in fact have any problem and had now had time to fully test them, they again contacted me to thank me for my business and assure me they stood by their product and its lifetime warranty and were available should I ever need any assistance or repair. All of this was within 24 hours. Based on this communication I am inclined to believe they would truly stand behind their product should I ever require support. Very happy with this product!

Using the Wuloo Wireless Intercoms for Monitoring from one building to another. Monitor system feature, when activated, last for 10 hours. Wished it could be placed in a continuous mode. Our very old monitor died. Glad to have this one to replace it.

Units work as instructions indicate.

These were easy to set up and worked right-out-of the box. I programmed them on a little used FRS frequency and chose a DCS code that has ensured that our units will not break squelch from any other traffic. They have worked flawlessly as intercom units that are compatible with any FRS/GMRS two-way radios you might have sitting around. The only caveat is that the receive audio on these is somewhat distorted and muffled. Not bad enough to make it impossible to understand what is said, but it is not terribly pleasant to listen to and it pushes the bottom limit for basic communication audio. If you can live with that these will serve you fine.

I wanted to buy a good quality affordable intercom system that was easily expandable and of good quality. I had purchased the WULOO Solar Driveway Alarm and I was pleased with the construction, instruction manual and easy set up so I purchased these. Overall, I am satisfied with the build quality and the easy set up. Their manuals are excellent and give step by step instructions. They are not your typical hard to understand manual. I can recommend these with confidence. My wife was able to set her station up once we expanded to 5 intercoms. These are supposed to have a 1 mile range but I would not expect that unless they are line of sight with nothing between you. If you are in a fire tower on a mountain and you home is in the valley there may be a possibility. LOL Remember, you are limited by certain types of construction as to your actual range. Our home is 1800 sq/ft and we have no problems. These can also be plugged into a power bank if you want to use these out in the yard and you don't have an AC power source. Voice quality is what you would expect out of a speaker this small. Think walkie-talkies when you were a kid. Voice Quality is good, not high fidelity excellent. They are worth the price. Disappointing. You have to change the channel and press the talk button to use it. Sound is not clear.

Great little device and exactly what I was looking for. These operate on FRS and all 22 channels and privacy codes are available. This means they can easily communicate with handheld FRS walkie talkies, which is super convenient if you are already using walkie-talkies in your building. It has around .20 watt output which is excellent for use within a single building. Mine works through a thick concrete floor and few concrete walls just fine. Las thing, the VOX actually works!!! With many FRS radios you have to literary scream into the speaker to get the VOX to activate, making the feature useless. Not so with this device, the threshold is just perfect.

Worked well while caregiving for my elderly parent.

Anyone who isn't happy with this product probably didn't deal with this companies customer service. I received the items (3 in a box) and 1 of the units had an issue with the microphone - the sound was all muffled and quiet and you couldn't understand the person on the other end. I contacted the company from the contact info in the box (very easy to find). I got a response from them within 30 minutes. After explaining my issue, I had a replacement in my hands within 48 hours from sending that first email. Now they all work GREAT! I have them between 3 floors in my house. Not a huge distance but there are walls and floors in the way. Very easy to setup and comes complete with everything you need. Plus good instructions on how to setup and use. AMAZING customer service! Rarely have I seen such great customer service. This is what gets them the 5 star rating more than anything else. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 3 way intercom system for shorter distances (less than half a mile). I don't know how well they perform past that.
