Working in carwash service I repair water chemical and hydraulics constantly. This is the go to sealant for everything and works when teflon tape won’t. Use on plastic and metal. I keep one in the truck 24/7 and won’t use anything else.

I had to change the run on about 40' of natural gas line that involved about 12 fittings. I'm comfortable enough working with gas but I'd rather avoid it if I can. In this case I couldn't. I had always used standard pipe dope and never had a problem with it until I had to take the joints apart years later. The day before I start dismantling gas fittings, sealed with that rock hard dope, I read through my dictionary of 4 letter words to make sure there aren't any I forgot because I'm gonna need them all. I needed a few extra this time so I just made them up. Anyway, I'll get to the point. Gasoila is the greatest sealant I have ever used. There is no wait time from tightening the fitting to turning on the gas. This stuff stays soft for about a day and then hardens up a bit, but you can still scrape it with your fingernail. If I have to take of a fitting off 3 years from now I won't have to break my back breaking the seal. I actually called the company in Cleveland when I was using this stuff to ask them some questions. I was connected to a guy with a british accent and we had a nice chat. He took a lot of time with me and gave me a lot of information. I found out that the product can also be used on potable water lines. No more teflon tape! I tried it on the laundry tub sink trap that was leaking and it worked! This stuff smells nasty till it dries, it's messy but cleans off your hands with soap and water. I got some on my shirt but it didn't wash out in the laundry.

The product seems to live up to its name. It initially is like a thick paste that you apply to the treads of the pipe. After a while, depending on temperature, it sets up to a chalky solid. I used it on gas appliance threads and I detected no leaks. It does not get rock hard so the pipe / fitting can be easily removed when needed. I had a shower head that I consistently had a leak problem at the cut-off attachment. I applied this sealer to it and it sealed the leak at full pressure. Better than Teflon tape. But I can't vouch for it over long time usage, this is only an initial evaluation.

worked great, used this on a diesel tank orifice that was leaking, two weeks later still not leaking which is longer than the last product I used. easy to apply and adhesion to the surfaces was good. Great value for the price.

Works perfectly! Used it on the threads is a tuff jug fuel jug that the cap kept leaking on. No more leaks, and it's been months since I put it on! For clarification, I used it on the threads where the hose connects to the cap, not where the cap connects to the jug, as that joint needs to come apart to refill the jug.

Got for husband. He likes using it. Said great stuff.

Hi ; This is an excellent product, expensive but good with exceptions . I used it in a well water system, approximately (40-60 psi range) my fittings were primarily stainless to stainless, but I had a couple of brass fittings also . The Exceptions : Gazoila is a wonderful, soft set product, easy to work with, but you MUST tape first , then apply the Gazoila over the Male taped threads . I used 2 full wraps of good high density tape . A brush ( supplied) makes easy application, and try and stay in the clockwise direction, the same as the tape . The other notable exception, even though soft set , it requires “dry time” . I went on the safe side and gave it a 24 hr set, with no water . This is for potable water , other elements, might be different, I.e. natural gas, propane, etc . One more thing “extremely low shelf life” for the money, no more then 1 yr !!! So check your dates .
