Vandoren SR263R Alto Sax JAVA Red Reeds Strength 3; Box of 10

These reeds provide a very nice jazz sound on my alto. They seem a little stiffer than some other 2.5 reeds, but they are consistently playable.

It’s good and sealed however the seller/shipper didn’t take into account how it will be handled once it’s shipped. They just wrapped it in a recyclable paper pouch when they can secure it at least with a bubble wrap.

Great product these reeds last a long time and sound great. I won’t by any other brand.

Vandoren is probably one of the best brands when it comes to reeds, and the SR263R Alto Sax JAVA Red Reeds are no exception. My kids play alto saxophone in a large high school band, and my son keeps asking me to buy these specific reeds again and again. The sound quality is amazing, and they provide excellent tone control. Great for jazz

excellent reeds suits rock, jazz, soul, funk, pop style of music. Use the Vandoren Traditional for classical music. Although like all reeds cos they're a natural product..expect some reeds to be better than others..
