READ all of the instructions, Including how to sit on it. It will seem silly, but once you have it together and sit correctly on it, you will understand. Quite stout. Easily folds up and uses limited storage space. Holds a lot of weight.

A reasonable compromise if you need a cane & expect to be standing for long period. But if you dont expect to be standing, a regular cane is better that is lighter & easier to use

I am a big guy and I worry about falling down. This item is very well made from high quality material. Uncomfortable sitting on it. Excellent, very good value.

The device is useful and stable enough as a cane. But only try to sit on it at your own risk. I am glad I was hanging onto the wall as I slowly sat down on it and then whoom its legs went right out from under me. I was inside apartment so I didn't get hurt. Had I been outside on the concrete it might have been a far different story.

I bought this because I am a big man and the weight limit that was advertised is what I weighed. Sometimes, I need to stand in line, but I cannot stand for very long. I thought this would be good for such a use.....sit for a minute or so while waiting. Doesn't work for big people. Would work for slender people quite nicely. Would've returned it, but settled for partial refund and kept it. Maybe a plant stand?

I originally bought this cane as a gift. I liked the rating of 400 lbs. I felt it would be sturdy and hold up well. The gift was so well received I bought one for myself. I LOVE THIS CANE!! It is sturdy and comfortable. In these Covid times with long waits and no seating(grocery lines, pharmacy lines, etc) the cane is a boon for this senior. I am much more confident in my mobility. If I over do or have a long wait, I have a place to sit. Highly recommend!!!!

I got this because I have urinary retention after surgery and now need to do self catheterization. This goes with me wherever I go so that in every public restroom I have a flat surface to set up my mirror and supplies and the adjustable flashlight gives me the lighting I need. Sharing in case anyone else needs this for clean intermittent catheterization CIC.

Sturdy, lightweight, and functional as both a cane when walking and a quick to open seat. The seat is on the small side and could be a little larger though it does provide adequate comfort. The seat cover does not fit-- being too small for the seat (I had to duct tape it on). Overall, happy with it. Use it all the time on my walks. and use the seat when needing to rest.

If you are going someplace where you don't know how far you have to walk, or how long you will have to stand in a line-up, this is the cane for you! Perfect for airports! Just make sure you have it locked in place before you sit or you might feel it move. I bought this before a vacation, and many people in the airport and in the destination stopped to enquire where I got it. It does weigh about 3 pounds, so is heavier than my regular cane.

It is very lightweight yet sturdy. Seat is quite comfortable and when used as shown, it feels very stable. Handle is excellent.
