JAWZ Compact Golf Ball Retriever

great ball grabber. i've had many over the years. works good through a fence or in the water. i like that it collapses very small. can fit in the pockets of your golf bag, so you don't have to compete with your clubs for space.

this is a great ball retriever. it fits nicely in my bag and easily extends to 18 feet. it pays for itself many times over with the balls i rescue. i bought one for my wife and she loves it. i especially like the way it grips the ball and holds it. it is modestly fragile. you cannot forcefully jam the retrieving end very hard to collapse it. it can break. but w proper care, it will last well.

I bought the 14' version to scoop out of small creeks about 4-6 feet across. inexpensive & light weight (half the weight of the 18' version. It paid for itself the first time I used it - collected 8 balls in the creek, including 4 pristine ProV1's! Super simple to use (only moving part is the telescopic handle). I mostly only need about 6-8' to reach balls, and it is perfectly sturdy at that length. I did try fully extending to reach a ball about 15 ft across a wide creek. While I was successful in grabbing the ball in mud on other bank, it was a bit bendy and felt much flimsier and harder to manage. If there had been a foursome behind us, I would have had to abandon the effort!! If you plan to use this to reach more than 10' frequently, I'd suggest looking into getting the longer version.

This is my second ball retriever from the Igotcha company. This ball retriever replaces one that I lost recently. The previous ball retriever had too many moving parts and actually did come apart a couple of times. So when I searched for a replacement I went with the Jaws model instead and I am extremely happy. To begin with IGotcha probably makes the best ball retriever on the market. Their retrievers are made from high-quality materials and are expandable while allowing you to place one of these in your bag. They are very compact and they do just exactly as advertised. The Jaws model is very simplistic but it's simply works very well. The rubber grips in the jaw mechanism that are on the inside of the retrieving hoop fit over any golf ball and has just the right amount of friction and grip to pull your ball back out of the water or from inside bushes or other vegetation. This in my opinion, is the best model offered by the company because there are no moving parts to break. I guess I feel very fortunate that I lost my first model and I opted to replace it with this one because in my opinion, this is a far superior model than the previous one I purchased.

The ball retriever is pretty good. It lacks a little sturdiness, but it is a balance between being fully extended and being lightweight enough to use. Just beware of one thing. When I saw "10 foot reach", I took that to mean their 10 foot model. Turns out they mean 10/14/18 foot reach with their 6/10/14 foot models based on the idea you can lean 4 feet. This to me was intentionally misleading, and continues to be. Now there's better pictures, but depending on which one you see, you might not be getting what you expect. I'm keeping mine because I find that at least here, it's rare that you need more than the 6 feet… but I *thought* I was buying the 10 foot model. Turns out I wasn't. I'll live with it, but make sure you see the difference between "length" and "reach", and buy accordingly.

I don't usually write bad reviews but I bought this retriever 6 months ago. I used it to retrieve approximately 12-15 times.the last time i used it the top tier came off the shaft. also the third section is about to come off and it is starting to rust. Im very disappointed, also there is no contact info for the company. All the reviews were very good which help me make my decision. it was only $30.00 but I definitely won't re order.

Yo tenía la versión anterior que era con un mecanismo de resorte, creo que atrapaba mejor las bolas, pero con este sistema no me quejo, me ha rescatado varías bolas que veo perdidas. Solo que a veces hay que presionar un poco más y cuando di hay lodo, tienden a hundirse y puede que la pierdas. Pero en gerenal, buen producto, recomendado.

This is a very good ball retriever. Simply place the ring over top of a ball and it picks it up no problem! Works very well in dry or wet conditions. I’m not sure how long it extends but safe to say you’ll be reaching golf balls that you couldn’t have gotten before. Great product and highly recommended.
