Works great for adhesive strips
Used this to get rid of the leftover adhesive from my old bug shield on my truck and it worked great. It removed all of the stubborn adhesive I couldn’t get off by hand and didn’t scuff my paint or leave any marks behind. After using it, it looked like nothing had ever been there. Huge time saver if you need to clean up old adhesive without damaging the finish.

The solid wheel is a better value- Works better than the slotted
I bought both the slotted and solid wheel. Far and away the solid wheel works best. I use both on my boat to remove 26 year old striping. The slotted just melted and disintegrated in a short time. Left tons of slag behind and did little. The solid wheel on the other hand zipped right through the whole boat in under 40 minutes with minimal wear or residue. The solid is a better value. Works faster, lasts longer and is much cleaner.

Worked well to remove pinstripes.
I usually don’t leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one for this item. It actually worked very well. I was hesitant and afraid it would damage the clear coat, but figured I’d give it a try. I’d removed pinstripes from another 1992 Mazda Miata the old fashioned way and found that it left fine scratches that needed polished out afterwards. Used it with a Dewalt 20V right angle drill, kept the speed low, and the edge flat with the surface. Tried it on an inconspicuous spot first and found that it didn’t damage the clear coat. Removed the pinstripes from this Miata in about 2 hours. Still had to polish after done removing the pinstripes, but that was to try to blend any clear coat / fade differences between the body and where the pinstripes were … not because it was scratching the clear coat. These will make some mess … they’re like big erasers. And don’t get too close to edges / rolled edges … you’ll lose paint. But paint never sticks well on edges and my flub was not a flaw of the product but rather the usage. I’d recommend trying them.

This works far better than everything else I tried
I'll start by saying I tried virtually every method I could think of to remove 45 year old cracked vinyl striping from my 25 foot fiberglass sailboat. I tried solvents, special "vinyl remover", paste-type paint stripper, metal putty knife and plastic razor blades with and without using heat gun all to little avail. All the previous attempts combined removed approximately 4 linear feet x about 6 inches of various vinyl stripes with a total time investment of about 6 hours. Today I tried this eraser wheel thinking "what have I got to lose?" I was amazed that with the wheel I was able to remove an additional 4 linear feet of stripes in a total of less than 15 minutes. I was shocked. An added benefit is the wheel seemed to do a very good job of also removing the adhesive layer leaving behind clean fiberglass. Plastic razor blades left the adhesive behind, which had to be removed with solvent. Now for the bad news. The wheel gets consumed fairly quickly. I'm about 1/2 way through the useable diameter of the wheel after removing a 48 x 6" section of stripes. For my 25 foot sailboat that will translate into 5-6 wheels minimum to remove all the decals. But, if your time is worth anything to you, the eraser wheel approach seems to be the quickest way to remove old, cracked vinyl. I did find that the one stripe which was not cracked (apparently it was much newer) seemed to be removed fairly quickly in large sections with a heat gun and plastic razor blades. If you have old, brittle, cracked vinyl decals, I highly recommend this product.

Didn't work the way I was hoping
I ordered this wonder wheel adhesive removing wheel to help me out getting the adhesive left behind from the body molding off my truck. I've seen these things used before and they really seemed to work great. They probably do in the right scenario but in my case, not so much. The molding had left behind most of the adhesive strip in the truck and this thing would not take it off. The wheel itself ended up deteriorating more than the adhesive. It would however, remove the tiny bit of residue left behind after I had soaked it with solvent and scraped most everything else off. By then I just used a soaked rag to get the rest off. I can say, when I did use it, it did not damage or mark my paint at all. Just like it's supposed to do. I probably just tried to do more with it than it's designed for, so I'm not going to be too hard on it as I can definitely see it working great on stickers or decals, more like it's intended for. I will keep it around for that purpose but I am disappointed it didn't work with removing the molding adhesive. It would've saved me a lot of time.

Removes stubborn adhesive and stickers effortlessly!
I'm surprised by how many people don't know about these things. I've bought the 3M version a time or two, but I honestly don't use them all that frequently. I decided this time to buy a cheaper version for removing California Carpool stickers from my 24 Rav4 Prime because that's no longer a thing after 09/25. I applied a little heat and pulled the main stickers off the car which leaves a very strong adhesive with VOID lettering throughout it. I installed one of these into a small Snap On cordless drill and proceeded to go after the remaining adhesive. It removes the adhesive so much faster than using even Pro power Goof Off. After removing the adhesive, I did go over the area with Goof Off to get a little remaining residue off the car. You'd never know the stickers were on the car. I also bought a set of used wheels for my 21 F150. I heated up the stick on wheel weights, removed the weights, and then used one of these wheels to remove the adhesive remaining. Again, nearly effortless and the adhesive comes up quite easily. The only downside of these is they do wear relatively quickly and they do make a mess, but that's minor in my opinion. I think for most people, a couple of these would last you many years until the rubber starts breaking down. I would buy these again.

Amazing results for ancient stickers and glue remocal
So like an IDIOT, with no research I took to conventional decal removal by adding heat. The 20 year old decals on my truck would not peel off at all. They would not scrape off and no chemical solvent was safe for the paint. Further there was some old double sided glue for trim. Trim came off glue tape stayed. Frustrated I started sanding it all off. Worst choice: it trashed my paint. Like sooo dumb. Sometime later I did some more research and found this product. I seen someone on YT had it and thought Id try it. Man, I wish i had this from the start. It took offer the decals and the glue tape. It took a lot of work and a couple of these wheels but an amazing finish. It did not damage my paint at all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for stuck on adhesives. If you got a big job, buy 2 wheels.

Ottimo prodotto
