Is good size small I so many times find but not find quality is good cooking is good

I really love this product. I've had a tava in the past and that one got worn out after 8 years of use so I finally had to replace it and get a new one. So, I got this. It takes a little time to heat up but once it is heated up, but once heated up it evenly spreads the heat all over the tava. My best friend for rotis. But I am a bit disappointed because this came a bit damaged on the bottom part. It doesn't affect the functionality, but it still is damaged.

I have been using these Tava’s since long time this is not non stick but work very well for chapati.

I was sent a pan which surely look it has been used. There were stains on the pan from being used (oil stains). I have not used the pan and plan to ask for a replacement but the only option is to return.

I cooked regularly when I was in India but never came across this Tava. I owned a traditional Cast Iron tawa produced locally and also another non-stick tava. All in all this tava is better than either. It's production quality is top notch. Hawkins is a trusted brand. I had concerns about the metallic handle before I bought it. But in practice it is cool to the touch and has a clearly marked line beyond which it magically never heats up. The hard anodized cooking surface takes a little getting used to (if you are used to cast iron), but has great non-stick properties while not sacrificing the smooth surface finish that is required in a tava to be effective.

I have always loved Hawkins products but this one was a let down. This tawa is looking old after just two uses. The coating has disappeared. You need to put a lot of oil if you are making dosas as they get sticky. The oval shape of the tawa makes it a little unstable on the stove. I am disappointed especially as this product was not cheap and I expected a better value for money.

Hawkins brand has been in my family for last 50 years or so. Their products are always high quality and this tava is no exception. I was little concerned about metal handle getting hot to touch, but it does not. Thanks Amazon for selling this.

Good quality pan but (my mistake!) not compatible for induction hob. Cost over £6.00 to return in postage 😟

This works great. Use it very often. Wish I would have bought a slightly bigger one though, a 10 in min. Also had to use a piece of folded foil to keep it level on the flat top range because I believe these are meant for gas ranges, my mistake. Still works great and makes great tortillas, chapatis and pita breads. Takes a while to get to the right temperature but maintains it perfectly once it's there. Like it better than my cast iron.

Very happy with this item. It looks to be of good quality. I've used a hard anodized tawa before, from another brand and that lasted me many years (before I accidentally put it in the dishwasher). This seems to be of even better quality. Used a few times already and it functions just like nonstick without the harmful coatings

Good buy thickness is good Dia is slightly smaller for those who make bigger Roti.

Excellent product. Go for it. It's little bit heavy in weight. Very easy to clean as it is very smooth on the surface. Soooo easy to use. Heat is same all over the tawa.
