yes i cut a deers head off with it!!!!!! with ease and it was supper sharp right out of the box!!!!

Good knife to have in the field
I am a hunter so having a reliable knife is a must. This knife was good for the price. The sheath is less to be desired, yet the product does what it is supposed to. The knife came dull, so be ready to sharpen it when you get it.

Great Hunting Knife
This is a great hunting knife. It has a great grip and it works awesome for gutting a deer. Highly recommended.

The sheath is in pretty bad condition
Knife is understandable for the price. Blade is not very sharp, and handle is a little messed up. The handle almost seems as if it has been used and worn down. The sheath is in pretty bad condition, but that is typical to most knives I bought on amazon. Overall, not too bad, could probably be sharpened a bit more.

i would not recommend this knife for skinning due to the way the blade is shapped, otherwise it is fairly good.

Blade seems to be holding its edge pretty well. You can't find a fixed blade guthook knife for this price anywhere!
