3 LB Bulk Rough Stone Mix Large 1" Natural Raw Crystals

This bag came with over a dozen distinct types of rough stones, every one of which had a decent number of great, large chunks. The amounts were evenly distributed with every type being well represented. I was very pleased to see that every single piece was a decent size for tumbling, with no small chips or broken pieces at all. Some reviewers have noted a disproportionate amount of white quartz or filler rocks, but that is not the case with my order. There is only one piece that looks oddly glassy (this is the pink piece displayed in the middle of the leftmost edge in the photo), as well as one piece that seems chalky (the bright white piece slightly down-left from the center of the photo). All others are easily identifiable natural stones. I will try tumbling these (minus the obsidian) to see what they become. Very happy with this purchase so far.

I almost ordered the 3lb bulk mix but decided to see if it was worth the purchase by starting out with the 1lb mix bag. I kind of expected one or two small standout pieces with the rest being more common “filler” stones. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the bag however, and saw very generously sized stones and no duplicates! I did give them a good scrubbing for easier identification and just to make them a little cleaner and prettier. I’ve added a photo of them laid out and identified (if I’ve made a mistake, please correct me! I’m by no means an expert!) and one of them after I washed them. The Lapis Lazuli I recurved is small on only has the tiniest hints of the tell tale brilliant blue, but it still a beautiful stone. I am overall VERY pleased with my purchase and will definitely be buying more! I think that these stones would be perfect if you just enjoy them as decor, but also for chakra cleansing and meditation. However I would definitely recommend a good scrub and maybe a night “charging” under the full moon before use with meditation.

Decent mix of stones, ranging from Amethyst to tiger eye, good value if a little plain, a lot of the chunks were hard to work with initially because of the hardness vs silicon carbide paper, as well as the rough shapes of the stones. Mine included flourite as well, which was super cool as it had a purple inclusion that was really nice to highlight through carving.

Purchased 2 bags and what a GREAT selection, LARGE pieces but minus one star for not able to identify them all. I could identify some but wish there was a identification color sheet included in this purchase. What I could identify is,..... BLUE stone is Lapis Lazuli, multi layered BROWN stone is GOLD TIGER EYE, LIGHT PURPLE stone is Amethyst, RED stone is Carnelian or RED JASPER, GREEN stone is green aventurine, BLACK shiny stone is BLACK OBSIDIAN, LIGHT PINK stone is ROSE Quartz, LIGHT CLEAR GREY stone is smoky quartz, CLEAR/MILKY stone is QUARTZ. I have about 8 other stones that I can not identify and are beautiful. What ever company puts these bags together, would sell a lot more if they would just put an identification color sheet in each bag.

We have ordered twice now and both times were awesome! Lots of choices. Big rocks with a few medium/smaller ones. If you're looking for small pieces.. this is not for you as 95% of the pieces are larger. Great quality and variety. Pictured is what we got in 1.5 bags (the other half is soaking.). Yes, they are dirty/dusty... but they are raw. So far, we have amethyst, fluorite, smoky quartz, obsidian, blue tigers eye, tigers eye, blood stone, labradorite, quartz, rose quartz, different types of agate, red jasper, carnelian and even a few others that we aren't sure of yet! I will never go to another rock shop again. This is a great value for any rock lover.. and emptying out the bag to see whats in there is honestly pretty entertaining as well. :)

Nearly a third of these were white quartz like you can find in landscaping. The rest are very nice, though. Nice to have some that are bigger than the 1/4 inch versions on cards I used to collect as a kid.

Wow!! I haven’t even cleaned them yet and I’m already amazed. Beautiful. I’ll be repurchasing for sure.

i was pretty skeptical of this item at first because of some low reviews, but i decided why not.. 3 lbs of rocks/crystals/gemstones for 20 dollars? i was really happy with what i got! i got some stones that were bigger than an inch and some smaller; good variety of sizes though. i love the raw stones because every single one was different and unique. i got some rose quartz, amethyst, emerald, carnelian, citrine, clear quartz, obsidian, lapis lazuli, and more. beautiful color variety and it was worth every penny. you do have to rinse out the dust and identify the crystals yourselves, but it is a great way to learn

I ordered 3 pounds of rocks from three different companies so I could do a review for everyone! This 3 pound bag of rocks absolutely exceeded any expectations! The rocks were over an inch in size somewhere almost 2 inches! There were no little tiny chips floating at the bottom of the bag! The selection of rocks were unbelievable! And there was even a little tree bag inside, of some beautifully polished, rose, quartz! if you’re going to buy some raw rocks for tumbling or for jewelry, this is definitely the company to get them from! Didn't expect much, upon receiving, what i got is beautiful and worth it, With 2 free tumbled stones.
