Light works!
We haven't had any issues with the light working & seems pretty bright! It did take a full day to charge though. We installed it very easily one late afternoon, but the light didn't start working until the next night. I love the little extra curb appeal it adds to the mailbox!

Should be brighter and cheaper, but good fit and quality overall! Mounted this to a new Mayne Inc. Westbrook Plus post with added Architectural Mailboxes - Hillsborough model box. Mounts right to the post top with the included custom adapter plate and included hardware. As long as it lasts a few years Iโll be happy overall, but Iโm sure there are fence caps that could be modified to fit for cheaper and likely brighter too.

These look great on the top of our Mayne mailbox & planter posts, still shine bright & the housing is still white after a year.
The RIGHT items shipped FAST at a GOOD price what more can you ask for? These look great on the top of our Mayne mailbox & planter posts! **UPDATE** 1 year later these still work great. I have a South West exposure. They charge & give good light even in the Winter & on cloudy Summer days. The housing is still bright white & matches the Mayne mailbox & planter posts & my vinyl fence perfectly. I couldn't be happier with these lights. See the pictures I posted with this review.

Awesome
Bought mailbox kit with planter. Light is an option and well worth the price. Everything fit nicely on my 4x4 post. Light is bright and looks awesome at dark. Solar and led are great together. ๐

Nice glow not supposed to be bright to blind Passerbys
I luv this solar light on top of the mailbox. Some people complain itโs not bright enough well ya donโt want it to be too bright to blind the drivers going past! I live in the country and It has s lovely glow! Enough so to keep vehicles and plow trucks from hitting it! Itโs been two years and I just now needed to replace the batteries. I did have to use caulk in four corners as the wasps decided to make a nest inside!

Works well in a full sun area.
This light works well and came in perfect shape. This is the second one I ordered. The first one I ordered and received had all the plastic tabs used to connect the solar light to the base were broken off.

awkward install
the install is awkward as the roof twists off and you have to screw ....square hole... screws down into the housing at an angle
