These work well for herbs that I dry from my garden. I love that they have the little shaker top , too!

We grow a boatload of hot peppers and then share with friends and family. So with the hottest peppers you really need a small container. Unfortunately, they were hard to come by hence the 4oz size. But I’m fully stocked for this growing season. I like that they come with a seal and have sprinkle holes. We vacuum seal them and ship them all over the world.

I bought these so I can put together a spice collection for the RV. They are a good size and have shaker tops. Of course, I washed them first. That’s when I realized that with the two grooves on the inside of the bottles, they are almost impossible to dry, which doesn’t really work for spices. The larger groove on the bottom isn’t quite as difficult as the narrow one on top. I will try a blow dryer as a last resort. Once I have solved this problem, they should work fine for my purpose.

Love these!! I wish the red and black ones would come back in stock. These are selling really well for my business on EBay. I sell Keychain Seasoning for people who love to travel and they don't have certain spices overseas. Traveling chefs love them as well and some customers need certain seasonings while traveling for dietary purposes. It's a bummer that I can't match the tops to the seasonings for color. Please restock these in the red top ones and the black top ones!

These jars are as described. Pretty rugged. And do what you'd want them to do...hold spices. The red cap fits pretty well. I filled with water and put the cap on a little tighter than usual (think soda bottle) and let it sit for 10 minutes on its side on a paper towel. The towel remained dry. I don't think I'd trust it with my shampoo in my carry on though. The real problem is the snap on- shaker lid. It is far too loose. Loose enough that it comes off with any heavy spice (salt) that you are trying to shake out. I tried it with 2 of the jars I received, and they both did it, so 4 tablespoons of salt went down the drain, literally. I checked the ruggedness of this product since it will be used for travel and camping where things get jostled regularly. The fix for me, since they are small enough, is to hold the base of the jar with the palm of the hand, and wrap 2-3 fingers over the top of the snap on lid to keep it in place. This should work with even the daintiest of hands. Bottom line.... I don't think I would buy these again.

These were the perfect size to create a pantry bin for camping. They were a huge space saver and way easier to pack than regular store-bought spice jars. Plus easy to refill from our kitchen spices at home.
