Had a molar removed , 4 days later the pain was unbearable, managed to get an appt with my dentist and he packed it with this, instant relief however it fell out after a day , so bought this on Amazon, an amazing product ,tastes vile , but no pain after a few minutes and if your suffering from dry socket you know the pain 😞, worth every penny 10/10 ,

This stuff is brilliant. After suffering from a dry socket I needed something to help with the pain as oral painkillers hardly touched it. My dentist has treated it initially but it's a 30 mile round trip each time so thought I would see if I can buy the paste online. Honestly glad that I did, within 10 minutes of placing the paste in the socket the pain was reduced by 95 % other reviews have said it tastes terrible but I find that it's much better than clove oil, initially it does tingle a bit but the pain relief is worth it. Would honestly suggest this to anyone unlucky enough to be suffering from a dry socket. My only other suggestion is to use very small amounts and build it up until you get it filled as it turns to a paste after it mixes with moisture. Will definitely buy again if needed.

It’s a good product once you get past the initial taste in your mouth. It’s not perhaps the easiest to pinch to then place in gap.

Incredible life saving product. It’s a rare thing these days to find something that does what it’s supposed to, this actually works, it actually took the pain from 11 down to about a 2.

Omg this stuff is amazing! Dry socket pain has to be up there with the worst pain you could ever imagine and painkillers slightly help. Applied a little bit of this into my socket as soon as it arrived and within 5 mins I was pain free!! It’s a life saver. Tastes horrible for a few mins and numbs wherever it is placed so be careful with it.

Had a dry socket that kept me in absolute agony, I don't know why my dentist didn't tell me i could just buy this. clean it out with salt water and anti bac mouthwash and stuff a wad in the gap and push it down with a cotton bud. It numbed the pain from a 9 to a 2 . now I can just have a bit of ibuprofen and is a lot better. Phew

So this arrived today and I’ve had a bottom moler out. An I think I’ve maybe got half a dry socket after 5 days. So I purchased this and some gauze watched a n YouTube how to do it. It taste of clove and is strong but who cares for pain right ? Works immediately I’m that numb but it shocked me. So absolutely 10/10 for pain. Going to sleep with it tonight and check it in the morning. I’m going away Monday so didn’t want to end up in agony with really bad dry socket. So really please I’ve got this with me. It’s expensive but for how much it numbs I can see why.

I had 3 wisdom teeth removed under GA both bottom top right. After the internal numbing injections before I was woken up had worn off a few days later, I had this intense throbbing pain in my bottom right and a big hole. Called Maxiillo facial at my hospital they then prescribed dihydrocodeine along with other pain relief OTC 6 days after my op, I then tried taking this 1 tablet every 6 hours next day in the afternoon intense throbbing pain again up to my ear in my jaw I have TMJ as well so really suffering. They then called me in on Friday the doctor irrigated with saline, and packed the hole with avenogyl £42 online. Left the dressing in next day wake up in agony again, called the Max doctors he said take it all out and wash with saline etc if still painful come in. So I went in because no surprise still painful! He then irrigated lots of times and said it’s dry socket He then packed both bottom sides because they were so open. They just put the fibres into the hole they don’t use a gauze so it can be extremely difficult to get out. Anyway comes it Sunday I left the dressing in over night till afternoon, I then had to pick all the fibres out with tweezers of a fine dental brush and irrigate lots! I prefer lukewarm water as cold can make you so sensitive I then stacked my holes with this products which instantly numbed everywhere and my lip by accident! This stuff makes you spit like crazy compared to the hospitals that makes your mouth watery and feeling like you need to spit for 5 mins, but this and hour later I’m still spitting That taste isn’t to bad but I still feel some pain and it’s driving me crazy!

What makes this great? - It's self-eliminating - no need to change or replace it - You don't need gauze or anything special to apply it, just clean hands - I used a clean glove too - It lasts nearly 24 hours for one application - It takes pain from a 10 to a 1 or 2 on the pain scale (I just had a baby, and this dry socket has been far worse) - It is THE worst tasting stuff in the world - imagine what skunk spray would taste like mixed with gasoline - so be prepared because it flavors everything you eat - It comes out using water in the curved syringes you can buy on Amazon or get from your dentist - You just roll a small ball of it, and shove it into your dry socket. Your mouth will numb up for a few minutes, but that will go away and slowly the dry socket pain will decrease! I had a tooth extraction that turned into a dry socket, but I couldn't get back into my oral surgeon. My regular dentist didn't have the paste on hand they would normally use, but I mentioned this paste and he said to order it. I was nervous to use it because there weren't great directions and I thought it might get stuck. I finally gave it a try out of desperation and I'm so glad I did. I will always have this on hand for future extractions.

After 4 days of constant pain, found this product. I put it in in the morning and change it out the next morning. Pros: 1. The clove essence almost instantly stopped the pain 2. The reduction in pain lasts all day 3. The paste\mesh slips into the cavity with ease, almost like being sucked into a black hole 4. It is easy to remove when needed and replace 5. It Keeps food from dropping into the cavity It does everything it’s supposed to do with ease of use and amazing value for money given the immediate relief of pain. Cons: 1. Everyone around you can smell the clove essence 2. The heavy clove taste quickly becomes overwhelming and irritating and seems to coat the whole tongue and mouth
