The thin base was clearly well thought out, because it heats up quickly and evenly. I can boil water for tea, coffee, or even instant meals in no time at all. One of my favorite features is the ergonomic handle and spout mechanism. I’ve used it on both my gas and induction stoves, and it works perfectly with both. It’s best on medium heat, and it boils water surprisingly fast. I love it is beautiful.

The tea kettle is well made and stylish. I really like it. My issue is the lid appears to be for another tea kettle as only one side seals. The other side only partially fits in the opening which then inhibits the whistle. I have not heard from Amazon nor the company in regards to my concern. I went through all the recommendations for sealing the lid with no resolution. I would recommend the tea kettle with hopes they send it with the correct lid. In looking at photos shared by others; I see many with lids flush with opening on only one side.

Kinda lightweight but excellent water kettle. Lid snaps on and stays in place. Loud whistle when it reaches boiling. Stays clean.

The lid opening doesn’t fit the lid well. It is too tight and takes a lot to close and open it. As a result, I have to wait to add water after boiling till it cools down to add more water. I got a slight burn on my forearm during the first use when trying to add more water to the hot kettle. The lid was impossible to open! But it pours well, heats well, and the handle works well. I do love the look of the mirror finish, and the shape of the pot.

It’s very shiny; whistles loud enough to hear in other room. Lid closing a little difficult at first. It seems rust resistent. It looks great setting on my stove. A little pricey but I love it
