What a fun movie!
I really enjoyed this movie. I love all the actors in it. Terence Howard was really enjoyable in this. Not his usual smoldering hot male lead. Different. And Queen Latifah is always likable with a great presence. All I can sya is that if you want a lot of likeable characters, humore, and a bit of romance that's not sappy, watch this movie.

Good family movie for year round viewing, not just at Christmas
This is one of my daughter's favorite movies. She had already bought a copy before, but for some reason, it always hung at one spot. We tried to clean it, tried to do the toothpaste thing, etc etc, but nothing fixed it. So, this was our second copy of those movie. It is one of those feel-good-happy-outcome holiday movies that you want to watch all year long. It made me a Morris Chestnut fan as well. You'll want to punch out the ex-spouse (played by Eddie Murphy's brother), but if you can get past the truly annoying performance by him (I hope it was good acting and he isn't like that in real life! HAR!), the rest of the movie is a lot of fun.

Very Good Movie
I'm in love with this movie. The plot is good as it involves a selfish famous guy, who uses his family to gain more fame. All the characters play their roles very well. It is entertaining and well worth watching.

How has this movie been out since 2007 and today was the first day I've ever heard of it, no less with Queen Latifah in it??? I thought I'd watched everything with The Queen. But I guess better 16 yrs late than never. I really enjoyed this holiday movie even though Queen's part was so small because of Khail Bryant. This little girl was so so darn beyond adorable. Those cute smiling eyes, her never ending smile and her character's amazing positivity. If only sweeties like her could always stay cute and adorable. JohnJohn's character was equally opposite of Khail's. He was annoying and irritating and this is one reasons why I rarely ever watch movies with kids/teens in them. Even if they turn themselves around in the end, it's the getting there I can't tolerate, so I just don't watch kid characters if I can help it. Over all I did enjoy this movie because Khail made up for al, of JohnJohn's annoyances. Howards part was utterly pointless. Why they put him in this movie really was a waste of space and honestly a waste of his talents.

Disappointed rant!
Cannot rate product as cannot play product as it is region one, which I thought my DVD player would play. I have other region one DVD'S that play perfectly, so disappointed. The trouble buying a DVD is you have to open it to try it, then you can't return it. The stars are for the delivery time which was spot on.
