Nice Lights, Minor Tinkering
2005 Mini Cooper S. I bought these because I cracked my right side tail light and needed a cheaper replacement. 1.) Like other reviews here, I had to arrange the bulbs in a way to make them practical. Upon arrival, the harness will be installed incorrectly to the back of the light assembly. I arranged to have the turn signal on top, reverse light in the middle, and brake light on bottom. 2.) The brackets built to hold the housing in place did not seem to click or hold the light perfectly. Luckily, the housing is secured by a singular nut as well. Definitely needed it! 3. The connector of the light housing did NOT want to click into the vehicles side of the connector. After much fiddling and a pair of pliers, I convinced the harness to agree with the car. All in all, these look pretty great. Certainly more appealing than the stock look, and seems to be built of decent quality. I did not have to cut or alter the harness. Minor hiccups make products like these aggravating if your not aware of the issues prior. Go ahead and get them, and be ready for some minor fiddling here or there.

A Whole New Look
This was purchased to replace a broken OE tail light assembly. As a set, they fit perfectly and add a new look to the 2006 basic Mini Cooper. The only deviation required is to swap the middle and lower light sockets in order provide white reversing lights. By default, the reversing light is on the lower side and is red, and the turning signal light is in the white middle position with amber bulbs. The default configuration does not meet US regulations for reversing light color. Other than that, this replacement light assembly set is solid and affordable.

I would say absolutely you're not by this part it's not compatible with my electrical system and the bottom two lights have not worked since I installed it
