The distinctive deck and book set offers insights and guidance for handling all challenges that face you, and techniques for developing all areas of your self and your life. The inspirational deck, painted by Hranto Janto, is comprised of 52 over-sized cards, each representing a different energy or aspect of feminine wisdom. The 208-page illustrated book, written by Amy Sophia Marashinksy, presents the goddesses in alphabetical order. For each goddess, the book provides an original poem, mythological background, card meaning, and suggested ritual. The meanings sections include questions to help you divine the energy of the goddess in your own life. The book offers three different card spreads. The Goddess Oracle can help you understand where you are, where you are headed, and what you need for the journey. Review: Insightful and easy to work with - I bought this oracle deck over a year ago and still use it very regularly. I have found the readings to be extremely insightful. On the rare occasion I am confused by the card I pull but I almost always go along with it and do the accompanying journey; I usually realize the significance soon thereafter (so now I've stopped doubting it). Usually the cards are extremely relevant. I drew the "Synthesis" card three times in the past week (The Goddess name is Gyhldeptis). Right now I am most certainly working on loving all parts of me, even the "ugly" parts (so the card is very fitting), and when I asked the deck how to come into wholeness in regards to a fight I had with my sister I drew this card. Aha! Yes! I need to love all those parts of her that I judge that are also parts of me. Anyhow, you get the picture. By the way, when I first got this deck I picked up on the theme of Wholeness so I phrase my questions that way. "How do I come into wholeness with my relationship with my sister?", for example. I love the accompanying journey that comes with each card's explanation. It takes the reading a step further. A guided meditation for every card! (And there are a lot of cards, even through regular use there are several cards I still haven't drawn; after I year I only drew Gyhldeptis for the first time last week.) As far as the artwork goes, I really love it. I think the only negative review is by someone who didn't like the art and didn't actually use the deck. I am not at all put off by exposed breasts...why would I be? I'm a woman and this is a Goddess deck, after all! If you want pretty pictures of Goddesses then I guess look to Doreen Virtue. Wholeness comes from embracing the light and the dark, and some of the Goddesses (Kali, as an obvious example) are shown as dark. The card for Uzume shows her breasts, but it makes sense when you read the back story and how she enticed the Sun Goddess to come out of her cave by exposing her breasts and playing with herself as comedic show. Overall, I highly recommend. I think it's very unique and quite amazing. Review: Beautiful Tarot Cards - These cards are beautiful. They are easy to read and connect with.... The cards are very positive. I read them daily.

Outstanding
I've been wanting this set since I saw it for the first time some years back. It lived up to all my expectations! Hrana's artwork is absolutely stunning, and Amy did a really good job getting info on a large variety (52!) of Goddesses from all over the world, as well as suggesting a few spreads to get you started. Overall, the deck focuses on the wholeness of a person, and what you must focus on (dealing with grief, setting boundaries, owning your body, loving yourself) to acheive wholeness. I really like that aspect, as I think that's one of the most challenging things as a person - trying to feel complete. I would have liked a bit more info on the Goddesses, but of course, when it's a small booklet it's hard to fit in everything! There will also always be some debate about the "actual" roles of some Goddesses, but that must be up to the individual to figure out what that particular deity means to her/him. There is also a very helpful bibliography in the back, should you feel interested in knowing more about the Goddesses in the deck. I haven't actually used it yet, but I've spent ours going through the book, looking at the cards and thinking about what each of the cards and their meaning mean to me. I can only recommend this - I only regret not getting it sooner!

Love, Love LOVE this deck!
This deck is amazing, I love almost all of the goddesses....some of the images ARE graphic but to me they're a great example of beautiful artistry. The book is fantastic, it let's you know who each goddess is (mythology), the cards meaning, and then there is wonderful visualized meditation that helps you to connect to that Goddess (which I think was a brilliant idea by Marashinsky's). This deck is NOT for everyone If you like your Goddesses to have a really soft and romantic look about them, or if enjoy when the Goddesses look like they just stepped out of a comic book, then this is probably NOT the deck for you. The majority of the Goddesses have a beautiful honest human like quality about them. ALSO if you don't like nudity then this is ABSOLUTELY NOT the deck for you! But as for me, I love this deck I find it easy to work with, and the images really resonate with me (yes...EVEN Sheila Na Gig!) and I SOOOOO relate to Goddesses looking like powerful HUMAN woman. This is a good deck for anyone who wants to begin their journey connecting with Goddess energy.

Beautiful and Unique
This just arrived today, and I want to let the cards absorb some of my vibes before trying a spread, but first impressions: The box is lovely, a gorgeous and thick cover that opens easily, like a book with a long lip to keep it closed. The book is on top with the cards in plastic underneath in their own little slot. The art is consistently gorgeous, with a wide variety of subjects in terms of race, body type, and age, not to mention color use and pose. Each was obviously a work of art to my eyes, creating a certain feeling as well as including the name of the goddess and potential meaning. The backs of the cards felt too small at first: a woman centered on a black background, in black and white holding a smoking censer, but it works the more I encounter it, both calming and feminine. I've only read the first part of the book, but so far it's well written, by a person who is obviously invested in the mysticism and personal journey that people buying this book would connect to.

Beautifully done with care and diverse perspectives
I love this deck, each time I use them, the history of each goddess is very touching and powerful for me... it always feels like perfect timing when I open this deck and each message feels like it was meant for me to discover and read. The poetry, and text is very fluid and the meditations at the end of the history are lovely. I also appreciate the extensive history of each goddess. It's not superficial nor fluff. Lastly, but importantly, I appreciate that this goddess deck is very diverse. It's not just European women with long blonde or red hair (though those are beautiful, as well). I appreciate that the world of goddesses is included, from the Americas, including Hawaii, Africa, China, Europe, the Middle East, India, and more... That is very important to me as I'm very mixed, with various ancestry, not only that, but because I feel we're all connected, and can learn so much from each other if we connect and see each other. I really love the artwork and the messages of its deck and I encourage everyone to own it. I only give it 4 stars because I feel the back of the cards have a beautiful, mystical feel, but it can also look a bit dark, or melancholic to me... which is opposite of what this knowing deck feels for me.. it mirrors something more inspiring and powerful. Thank goodness the front of the cards are colorful though, and the back is still beautiful, regardless. Thank you.

The guidance I never knew I needed
At the time I bought this deck I didnโt know much about Goddesses. For years, I delved deeply into my spirituality to clear all the gunk of judgements, hatred, and victimhood Iโve carried and it all lead me to this deck. Iโm amazed at how much energetic healing has taken place. To have this deck and allow my imagination to connect me to whichever Goddess I draw to me has been indescribable. For the last two weeks, Iโve sat with this deck (morning, night, sometimes both) and it has dramatically changed my expression and inner narrative. I am forever grateful.

One of the best goddess oracles
I have other goddess oracles but this is one of the best. I instantly connected with it. It is mystical, poetic, practical, and the illustrations are beautiful and true to the origin and story of the goddess. The booklet contains for each card a poem, the mythology explanation, the meaning of the card and a ritual suggestion.
