AmazonBasics Nitrile Butadiene Rubber 13mm Extra Thick Yoga | Exercise Mat with Carrying Strap | for Men & Women | Black

I was on the lookout for a good yoga mat to replace my current one as my current one was thin and causing me pain in joints. hence, I wanted a mat with enough grip at the same time adequate comfort. this mat met all my needs. it is made of a kind of rubber hence it has adequate grip on the floor and doesn't move on tiled floor (even though the profile says that it is not suitable for tiled floor). it is almost 13mm in thickness so it provides adequate comfort and cushion. it is not as heavy as you would expect a rubber mat to be, however, since it is bulky it maybe cause slight inconvenience while carrying. the only con i could think of is the smell. it has a new rubber smell and it lingers on ur clothes at times. may cause problems for asthmatic people. but i am hoping that airing it out for a few days may improve that. I would say that this mat is comparable to the decathlon pilates mat but at less than half the price. i purchased it for rs. 850 in the republic day sale and it is a win. still cannot comment on the durability.

Mat is as expected - a basic workout mat Having used other brands over years this has nothing to complain about. Light weight, Grips good on floor as well is the body contact points. Easy to clean material. Only issue is its too narrow for me to even do a basic pushup. I'm 181cms with decent broad body. I can comfortably fit while lying down with arms close to body but can't fit inside for workouts.

Very good mat with sufficient cushioning. Value for money.

Good mat but slippery and not hard enough.

If you stretch a little more on mat, starts wearing out. The thickness is good, just need to be careful.

The quality is not good. It will tear up easily, also it will compress when you stand on it making difficult to balance.

It is a comfortable mat to exercise on, not like many that are hard and which hurt in certain positions.

The cushioning is good. Quality is good. Recommend to go ahead if planning to buy wont regret.

Amazing quality, and it's nice and thick. Worth more than the actual price. I'm happy.
