A unique approach
Great movie! Explores the characters more. More plot. Excellently filmed.

I was really looking forward to watching this movie but the dvd I received won’t play in my machine. I waited to watch it (gardening season) and by the time I tried it, the return window had closed. My fault, but I didn’t see the Europe only anywhere in the description. An update. I just found I can play the video on my Mac so all is not lost. It’s not ideal, but it can work for me.

One of my favorite movies! Wish it were digital too

First, it has to play.
The item I received was not sealed, despite being advertised as "sealed". More importantly, when placed in my Blu-ray player, the disc did not play. A “copyright warning” appeared, and then a screen popped up displaying, “Dazzler Media”. Nothing more. The company, which is located in Canada, "allowed" me to return the item, but did not cover the cost of shipping. I certainly won't use them again.

Love this movie. Good remake of the original

Disappointing
This movie of Lady Chatterley's Lover was disappointing. Camera jumped around too fast from person to person. A lack of focusing in on faces. It did not seem to me there was much chemistry between the couple. There are better versions out there of Lady Chatterley's Lover. More drama then substance.

Heavy on Tears, Light on Chemistry
I haven't read the book, so I'm not sure how accurate this adaptation is. I have however, seen 2 other film adaptations and this one has much less graphic sex scenes and focused more on the emotional connection between Lady Chatterley & her lover. Heavy on tears, light on chemistry so it was a bit of yawn for me. Seemed like a short movie too, but maybe I'm wrong. This disc does NOT have special features, behind the scenes & whatnot which I was very disappointed with.

以前のBBCものから20年は経っているが、映像表現がここまで豊かになっているのかということが分かる。 映像表現のみならず、原作を知らない層にも響くようにという配慮がシーン随所でうかがえる。 Very cinematic.

Belle histoire d'amour
Très belle histoire d'amour, superbement interprétée par Richard Madden, James Morton and Holliday Grainber. Toutefois, j'ai trouvé ce filmé un peu court (90 mn). C'est une version très soft que j'ai beaucoup appréciée.

Do not bother
I thought in view of the actors involved this would be a no-brainer as entertainment and storyline however did not match up to the earlier version with Sean Bean so do yourself a favour and read the book instead.

Soooo schön
Ein wundervoller Film,voll Zauber und wunderschöner Musik.Die beiden Hauptdarsteller harmonieren ganz fantastisch.Unbedingt ansehen .Eben typisch BBC.Wieder eine durch und durch gelungene Verfilmung eines Klassikers.
