Im 5 10 170 lbs and large seems to big would a medium ve a better fit?

I am 5'11" 170 lbs. The medium is way too short in the arms and the back needs another inch or it feels like I will rip it off Incredible Hulk style if I move wrong. I have not tried the large so do not know if that is any better.
