This is hands down the best OBD2 scanner you can get for the price. Purchased this for persistent check engine light on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK. It works with all modern cars that have an ODB2 port. I used it to reset/clear engine codes when needed. It is extremely accurate and it tells you every fault code in plain English. I love to the fact that it can deep dive into your car and tell you RPMs and temperatures. It's Bluetooth functionality with an Android device make the interface even more aesthetically pleasing. If you are not a professional mechanic and a casual user, this is the best thing to purchase for detecting car problems.

This is our second Car Code reader. We had a Foxwell, I think that was the brand, one prior that we liked a lot but stopped working while my husband was out of town and our car had thrown three warning lights. So I took the opportunity to research OBD readers (I think that is what they are called) as I figured we would need a new one. This one we ended up buying was on a “best of” list not only for price, but for ease of use and the display. The function of it was highly rated, but I also liked the fact that u could use the bluetooth function to connect to the device, download the free app, and easily read the issues from your phone! So much easier that the display we had on our prior reader. And then to have other options for trip readings, battery life, VIN verification and more along with a great price made this an easy purchase. Then the fact I was able to easily get it hooked up and diagnosed the issue with our car by myself reinforced it was a great buy. With the info, I was able to order the parts and then we fixed the car. Cleared off the codes and the warning lights in the car with it. Warning lights have remained off and all is well.

For the average quasi-car guy this is the sweet spot. I tried a highly rated $14 dongle and downloaded and tried 3 different Android apps. I discovered that one app was incompatible (description never implied this), two connected right away. But I had questions about intended functionality that I sent in to both the dongle and app people. After repeated queries and 4 days nary a peep. They seemed to work ok but always a question of what they were and were not intended to do. And one app was particularly unpredictable when trying to configure new gauges. Then I came across this integrated system. What attracted me to it was the interface that can remain semi-permanantly attached to the dash with the compatibilty with the app designed for this device. No guessing about compatibility. They are designed to work together. And I don't have to use my phone all the time - only when I want a larger screen or to take a deeper dive into the readings. The system turns off after a few minutes of ignition off and turns on when the button on the left side is pushed. It is always available and informative. Sure, it is not the full-featured $$$ system used in shops- probably 10% of the cost of what's in the shop. But I'm guessing it does 90% of what most of us need to know. So for casual users who have an older vehicle (mine is a 2017 Mazda) who don't want surprises or much guessing about the performance of their vehicle, I consider this the sweet spot among similar devices.

I don’t know how but this scanner does the job right, I think it’s UI and data it presents are very good and well thought out. Sure, the numbers are confusing but it’s just a quick google search. I think it connects well between phone and car. Pretty good and I needed it to diagnose something, did just the thing I needed it to and now it’s used to track numbers. Great for its price!

Works well. More of a plug in unit with keypad than phone app operated Bluetooth app.

This tool is great! Simple to use and does what it says. And best thing is it pays for itself! If you have a check engine light and take your car to the shop to diagnose it that will cost you more than the price of this tool without even any repair being made! Get the tool and scan your car to identify what the issue is. It could be something simple and an easy fix that can be done yourself. At a minimum you will be confident in knowing exactly what the issue is versus hoping your mechanic is being honest with you. Love this tool, will be using it often!

It’s simple but gives slots of information about the car. Only drive back the button side got broken after few uses, but still the rest works perfectly. Still I will give it 5 stars

Zakres funkcjonalności sprowadza sie głównie na Obejrzeniu błedów i podglądzie danych z czujników w samochodzie. Ogólnie warto posiadać takie urządzenie aby sprawdzić co może dolegać naszemu pojazdowi, choć trzeba pamiętać że nic więcej się takimi urządzeniami nie wykona - taka wstępna diagnostyka.

Had an engine warning light come on in our Peugeot Boxer 2013 2.2 TDI that wouldn't clear on it's own. Difficult to find definitive information on readers that work on specific models. This one definitely has worked on ours. Simple to use, clear and concise and when used with app, even searches google for suggested answers (as it states it does). Brilliant item and worked perfectly.
