Chill Cooling Weighted Blanket (15lb)

My sister loves her weighted blanket (she has RLS and it helps her a lot) so I purchased the cool version since I am a hot sleeper.1) I LOVE the fabric. It definitely is cooler than a standard blanket Yes it will warm up a little bit due to your own body heat but any part that isn't in contact with you feels like when you flip your pillow over to the cool side. I especially love that I can poke a foot out the bottom and touch the outside of the blanket for a nice cool feeling.2) I ordered the 15 lb version and it is noticeably heavy without being overwhelming. I have had it for less than a week now but even the first night I noticed a difference in my sleep. It took a little getting used to in how I would position myself and other sheets/blankets (in the end I am opting for no other blanket since I'm in southern CA and even "winter" here isn't cold). I'm normally a tosser/turner but this has drastically cut down on that. Last night I slept from 4 am - 8 am without flipping at all!3) My only real complaint is the weight distribution. I would have liked the beads or sand or whatever is inside to be partitioned better. Maybe individual pockets? As it is now, if I moved the blanket around too much before settling, the weight can shift all the way to one side or the bottom and it's a little frustrating getting it back into the right position.4) Definitely not the size for sharing (not that I want to). It is sized for one person only to use.Overall: 4/5 Stars. It is high quality and definitely seems to be working, but there is room for improvement on the weight distribution.

I bought this blanket after reading reviews of how a product like this could help me sleep better at night. My main concern was dealing with night sweats and this weighted blanket. The cooling blanket is noticeably cool to the touch for a length of time but struggling with night hot flashes, it’s difficult to get comfortable and regulate body temperature with a fifteen pound blanket. I would recommend this blanket to someone with a sleep disorder other than a menopausal woman. It was beautiful and comfortable. Just not for me.

Too small and slippery. Two of this item would make a normal sized blanket for an adult.

My daughter has a neurological sleep disorder. This blanket doesn’t cure it, but does help her. Definitely worth the investment and it’s a quality blanket.

This has been a great added blanket during the long winter in Alaska. I find my sleep improved and love waking up warm and toasty. I do have to pull it off my feet when I’m sleeping on my back..other than that, no complaints.

Weight was perfect, I got the white chill 15lb version. It definitely has a more cooling cover than most weighted blankets. Came out of the box with a heavy chemical smell. Washed the blanket cover and sprayed febreeze on the inner weighted part, that alleviated that issue. Slept soundly for the first time in a long time.

While this is a great idea, and the cooling effect is real, the blanket was bought for one partner in a king size bed and it is terrible. It does not stay put on the bed, and consistently slips off. It is more annoying than useful. I missed the return window and seriously think I wasted the $200. Not worth the price, in my opinion.

The first few nights, I didn’t think it made a huge difference. Then I tried to sleep without it and noticed such a difference. I am waking up less tired and the cooling sensation feels great on the skin.
