Although I love collecting cookbooks, recipes that feature authentic and traditional ways to bake bread and pastries from different parts of the world. This one is made by a famous pastry chef in Mexico that feature common breads and pastries found in numerous bakeries in different states of Mexico. I have heard of a few here in the States, and tasted some from co-workers and friends who brought their favorites in the States for their loved ones. Just an awesome book, it is small but is packed with a lot of guidelines and importance of key ingredients coming from a famous French cooking school - Larousse. Although this book is entirely in Spanish, use Google Translate or Samsung Translate to translate from Spanish to English. But since I can read and understand little Spanish, I can easy follow the pictures, sometimes you will pick up some techniques and tips. This is such a great small book about making Mexican pastries and bread. Excellent book to perfect baking Mexican pastries and bread
So I was browsing what kind of books feature Mexican pastries and bread. I found this one while browsing tons and tons of books, and this caught my eye. Libro muy completo, de fácil lectura y muy bien explicado (Pasta dura)
Tengo una pequeña panadería y definitivamente este libro es una herramienta infaltable. Las recetas se pueden realizar tanto en casa como en una panadería. Te explica procesos y pasos a seguir con gran detalle. Con este libro y dedicación es muy fácil elaborar varios tipos de panes. Además, el encuadernado y las fotografías son de gran calidad. Recomiendo mucho este libro.
