Helle guys . I almost search every video on YouTube regarding How to connect ps4 to vga monitor. Nothing got . But after I saw this product on Amazon and purchased . This is excellent product to connect ps4 to vga monitor with out any other source like power . Because this product has in built micro usb port to provide power required to connect ps4 to monitor. So you don’t need to be get vga splitter to provide power . Its also has aur connection for audio. Its very small and works like two to three adapter in single adapter. Quality is Best . So If you want to connect PS4 to your VGA monitor then go for this .

I had purchased the product UGREEN HDMI to VGA Converter with Audio SKU: 40248 thinking that I could connect my PS4 to the existing VGA monitor DELL E190SF which supports resolution up to 1280 * 1024 @ 60Hz using this new converter. But I am getting an error ==== MESSAGE The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Please change your input timing to 1280 * 1024 @ 60Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specification. ==== Tryouts: > I set my PS4 resolution to 480p and tried connecting. Still the same error. > I connected the converter to my laptop and used the monitor. Still the same error got generated. > Connected the extra power too. Still the same error. I am having another one company converter which I am using to connect to the same monitor and these laptops (This doesn't have an audio option). It is working fine without any issue. I did try replacing the product once. Same issue generated for the second one also. There is no return option in Amazon for your product, so that I cannot return and purchase something else too. I request if anyone could help in resolving this issue, so that I can start using your product without any issue.

Excellent product! Just got, i had to set 720p on ps4 pro and it worked. If you get a display message - out of range 67.5/60 on the monitor then just set the resolution on ps4 pro to 720p. This comes with usb for power and you will need it to connect it to ps4 pro. Had to search a lot on amazon to get this product and many people had encountered issues using similar adapters. I am relieved everything is working fine.

Product is good but not support 480i or 1080i

Compré este cable para aprovechar las múltiples entradas de las que disponen los monitores actuales, que suelen ser VGA y HDMI en su mayoría. Para probar su eficacia lo he probado en un monitor antiguo, un Acer AL1916W, que solo dispone de entrada VGA (también denominado D-SUB). Conectado a la salida HDMI de un portátil, y alimentado por sus USB, el monitor VGA enciende a la perfección, incluso sin conectar el USB (seguramente esto depende de la revisión HDMI del portátil, que es capaz de alimentar al adaptador sin necesidad del conector USB). Sin embargo, conectado a la salida HDMI de una Raspberry 2B, y alimentada por la propia conexión USB de la RPi2, el monitor no enciende. La solución a este problema con la Raspberry Pi, pasa por alimentar el adaptador con una fuente de alimentación externa como la que usa la RPi para funcionar o cargador de móvil, o bien alimentar el adaptador con otro dispositivo que tengamos. Este problema puede deberse a que los puertos USB de la Raspberry no suministran el Amperaje suficiente para hacer funcionar el adaptador. Después de haber probado con distintos dispositivos y pantallas, puedo decir que el dispositivo cumple con su función. Aunque para dispositivos o equipos cuyos puertos USB o salida HDMI no le suministre la energía necesaria se requerirá de un adaptador de corriente adicional o solución similar que otorgue ese amperaje para el correcto funcionamiento del adaptador. Es un adaptador recomendado para aprovechar esas conexiones VGA de algunos monitores y televisores, y también para poder conectar más de dos equipos a un monitor o televisor que tenga varias entradas de vídeo, en caso de que la entrada libre que no usemos sea la VGA, con este adaptador podremos tener un MiniPC, Raspberry, ... conectado para manejar su interfaz esporádicamente. Shipment and delivery---top notch...that one for Amazon. Item itself solved the problem of having one HDMI port with two intermittent HDMI inputs from different sources. and Yes, it is functional and works fine so far. To be honest, perhaps a better option than utilising different ports behind a screen (say VGA and HDMI) and use different cables and converters. This one seems to be a clean solution.

In A Nutshell I bought this adapter because I bought a cheap monitor off Ebay that "supported HDMI" but the problem was that the monitor was 4:3 and the HDMI resolutions were all widescreen TV resolutions. Setting the native 1024x768 resolution via HDMI resulted in a horizontally compressed, pillarboxed image. The only way to get the proper image on the monitor was to use my monitor's VGA port. Compounding my issue was that my source signal was from an HDMI Stick PC. The Ugreen adapter solved my problem completely.
