I am always the kind of person who reads EVERYTHING and spend a lot of time reading reviews before buying -so at the end I finally decided to buy this phone from this seller due to the reviews. I had the Samsung S4 so I wanted to get this one, however it doesn’t have to many upgrades from the S4, but it is a really nice phone, camera is great! The menu changed but you get used to it is not that complicated. At the beginning I was a little skeptical when I received my phone… I thought it was a fake one, b/c of the plastic cover it had, it can easily break and the duo sim it had, and I read that they only have one!! however I start checking on the web for a looong time finding out if it was original or not! At the end I felt relief cuz in fact it was ORIGINAL it turns out it came from United Emirates that is why it was different, and what I found out it’s that in Emirates they did made phones with duo sims. The other thing it had me worried was about the delivery service, it came thru Lasership and reading all the reviews it said they were terrible! they said my phone would arrive at 8PM at the end it came at 9am! They were really fast! Despite all the negative reviews mine was GOOD! I would recommend to buy from this seller it was fast and you get what they offer.

I bought this phone for myself, and I could not be more satisfied. Like any other phone, I put mine to the test on the first day out of the box, already testing its water resistant and dust resistant capabilities. It has not failed me. The screen is strong and well built, with Guerrilla 3 glass, what would you expect? Not a single scratch. But, the sides are still made of plastic, just like the other Galaxies before the s5. It is stong but if you drop it it may chip off, leaving you with a white plastic colour that's barely noticeable. That's when I recommend a good case for it. But do not worry this phone's only 'fault' is the plastic on the side (which can be improved). I love this phone! It is miles better than my old android. Anything I need from a smartphone this phone delivers. I wouldn't switch to another because of what the S5 offers. Let me list some of my personal cons and pros just to keep this review informative. Pros Battery life, processor speed, expandable storage, multitasking, screen is outstanding, slim, amazing camera and vídeo, the fact it is gold (colored), the android platform, water resistant, USB 3.0, fingerprint scanner, nfc, among others Cons I could do without touch wiz, lots of useless samsung apps you have to deal with, the build quality could have been better but still nice, The pros definitely outweigh the cons for me. Even though the next batch of smartphones is rolling in, this phone still competes. And for the price you can't go wrong. So yes I highly recommend this phone.

This phone caused me such a headache! About a month after I started using it, the screen began cracking. This was with very, very gentle use and no dropping, putting in back pockets, or any other mishandling. The crack was very small, and so I didn't do anything about it because when I called a screen repair service to get a quote, they said repairing this screen specifically would cost $200+. About a month after that, I took the phone out of my front pocket, and the screen had developed cracks all over and nothing would display. I could still get sound, but the phone was effectively useless because there was no screen. I contacted the seller, Amazon, and Samsung US to see if I could get any kind of warranty coverage, repair, or replacement because of manufacturing defects. The seller told me there was nothing they could do out of their thirty day return policy. Amazon said to defer to the seller, and there was nothing else they could do. Samsung informed me that the phone I had was an international model (indicated no where on the product listing or in any paperwork I'd received), and that I would have to contact Samsung Latin America. So I contacted Samsung Latin America, who told me there was nothing they could do because I was in the United States. I ended up having to buy a new phone, and I went back to an iPhone. I decided the expense of an Apple product was well worth it, because they have ALWAYS tried to work with me and offer multiple solutions for any problems I have with any device of theirs. tl;dr: the phone wasn't worth the price, the quality was sub-par, and the seller was shady. Beware of the seller you buy from, and be prepared to be given the runaound.

I like everything about S5 but I wished they had copied some of the features from Apple (iPhone). I did have an iPhone for a long time but I didnt like all the restrictions (as if Apple still owned it, tho I paid full price for it and it was unlocked). The computer access, the software restrictions and iTunes were the reason I never buy another Apple. But then Samsung 5 lacks the good features like the Silence Switch, The ability to terminate a program without punching the PIN (code) (imagine you are sitting in a courtroom and all of the sudden an alarm goes off, with Samsung you are sure to be caught cuz it takes many seconds to silence the alarm (as far as I know you can only answer calls without punching your PIN, but with Apple you can hit the program or press the Home Key and it will silence it right away you dont even have to take it out of your pocket). Features like this I miss about my iPhone but the fact that I can fully Access my S 5 when I connect it to my computer and move or copy files around, the fact that I put a 128 GB SD Card in it (it even knows about the SD Card and asks to put extra stuff on it to save space)! Now I can shoot away videos and photos without worrying about running out of space and the fact that I have 2 spare batteries which came with a charger, makes it a great Smart Phone... and I do mean Smart (i.e. you have 4 or 5 different volumes to control each sound like alarm or calls or system etc.). I only wished that S 6 was as accessible as S 5 cuz it has a better camera (I think some of the features were sacrificed at the price of better look! Well I wanted to use my phone not marry it) but anyway I had to get an S 5 because I could not give up all the freedoms it gives. I am very happy with Samsung and I must say with the Seller too. Sometimes I think maybe "they" will figure out about all the freedoms of S5 and will probably take it off the shelves. lol ;-) I hope not but I've seen that happen before in other things! In any case I highly recommend it. I have not had it a long time but for what I have seen so far, I do recommend it and I feel like I can write a lot of things about it. Rated Excellent for battery life and much more. Even Consumer reports agrees! I have dropped this phone more times than I can count. The great thing about Samsung is that you can stop by a best buy on Mon, Thur or Saturday for free classes also!. For those not use to the newer version of Samsung there is also a lot of videos under Samsung Mobile on Youtube. However, all the how to for the S5 and Tab Pro (Same button set up) is under Samsung mobile UK not Samsung mobile US or Sam mobile. Oh, I have been all over the US with this phone and it works great. Also the Samsung people can do a software update for you in about 10 minutes in a best buy store versus waiting an 30 minutes to an hour to download an update at home! This phone ran circles around an older note 3 and S4 that were used on a different carrier. I hope you enjoy your S5.

Well, the s5 is an awesome phone..... until you run into problems. Only thing is with THIS particular phone is that (after many phone calls and transfers), I was informed it was a Nigerian Samsung phone.... to handled by Samsung Nigeria (their customer support number is 0860 726 786). So in order to get my wifi connection problem addressed, i would have to contact them. I did via Google Voice ( 5 cents/minute btw).They speak English (yay!) but still, ridiculous situation. Had I known that dang phone was Nigerian from the get go I would have NEVER, EVER bought it. That was something that should have been mentioned in the product description.

So in love with this phone! I purchased the copper gold version, and as soon as I saw it out of the box, I knew I'd made the right decision. It's a really unique color, I usually see people with the slate or white variations. The phone arrived really quickly, and I love that I only had to pay $100 to upgrade to this (I had an iPhone 4S previously). I really missed the Swype option that I was used to before trying out Apple, so it's nice to have that again. Only complaints I have are that there is a LOT of bloatware on the s5, with no foreseeable way to delete it off your phone. But it keeps trying to update itself even though I've disabled it. And disabling certain pre-installed apps can interfere with the phone's ability to work properly. Also, I can't really adjust the home and lock screens without a lot of the picture getting cut out, and autocorrect overshoots the mark often. So that's kind of obnoxious. Other than that, really happy with the s5. Glad I made the switch back to an Android. The camera takes beautiful photos, and has a lot of neat little built in photo editing bells and whistles. Wouldn't trade it for anything else.
