Its small but good

Unexpected effect...
I bought this as a quirky ornament, and it fulfils that function well. But beyond that, I have found sitting watching the slow steady upward flow of floating blue balls, incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. It has the effect of slowing down my busy mind and thoughts, almost like a form of meditation. I'm amazed at its effect. I would recommend it to anyone who struggles to mentally slow down in life! 😀

Good, Silly, Small
It's what it looks like... rather small, but it's silly and a nicr ice breaker when you start working in a new office.

Really interesting to watch. Grandchildren loved it. Just wish it was a touch bigger

Disappointing
Years ago I got a three minute upside down timer from the Science Museum which gives me a certain amount of pleasure every time I want an upside down egg. I don’t like the slim shape very much and it’s actually not very easy to read and not very pleasurable to watch.

This is fabulous
It is narrow, good looking and as it says the 'sand' moves upwards. The timing is not that accurate but within +/- the 10mins stated. Will buy as gifts for Xmas.

Smaller than expected and cheap
Check the measurements, it's smaller than I expected it to be. And it is cheap plastic looking with an ugly box. Bought as a gift, returned.

Eine tolle Uhr, die die kleinen Kügelchen* (?) nach oben statt nach unten schwimmen/schweben (fallen) lässt. Bei mir habe ich testweise die Zeiten gemessen und auf beiden Seiten waren diese ungefähr gleich. Als Geschenk für Geburtstag verwendet ---> super, da der totale Hingucker ;) Würde ich wieder kaufen (hmm, eigentlich bräuchte ich ja jetzt auch so eins, denn "meins" habe ich nun verschenkt...) * = der Effekt entsteht übrigens, da die Kügelchen eine geringere Dichte im Inneren aufweisen als die des Wassers bzw. der Flüssigkeit, die drum herum ist. Durch diese Dichte sind sie entsprechend leichter und erhalten Auftrieb ---> sie fallen/fliegen (usw., s.o.) nach oben.
