Ettore 65000 Professional ProGrip Window Cleaning Kit; 12-Inch ProGrip Squeegee and 10-Inch ProGrip Microfiber Washer

I bought the Squeegee Off soap Ettore 30116 Squeegee Off Window Cleaning Soap, 16-Ounce , along with the ProGrip Cleaning Kit and 5 Ft. Interlocking Pole Ettore 45000 5-Feet Interlock 2 Section Pole with Click-Lock Tip to clean my skylights. I had no idea how else to clean the interiors since they were up so high. I decided to try using the ProGrip with the Squeegee Off cleaner to wash my windows too. I have probably tried every commercial window cleaning product ever made, as well as some homemade recipes I've found on line, but everything always left streaks (except for Glass Wax, which works but is a pain and leaves a powder residue everywhere).. Well, I've finally found something that works without streaking! If I could, I would rate these products 10 stars, they're THAT GOOD. Add a little to a bucket of water, soap up your windows, and squeegee off. That's all there is too it. Dirt and film are removed from the windows without leaving any streaks. My windows sparkle they are so clean. And it's so easy! If I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it. The squeegee in the kit is very well made (much better than the cheap one I bought at Linens & Things several years back). The pole was plenty long enough to reach the skylights in my cathedral ceilings (I stood on a step stool but probably didn't need to). I would definitely recommend these products and would buy them again (I will probably stock up on the Ettore Squeegee Off because every time I find a product I love, it ends up being discontinued.)

Oh. My. Goodness! Where do I start? This thing ROCKS! I bought the whole kit (this along with the cleaning soap, bucket & extension handle). I washed 10 windows plus 2 door walls, inside AND out in less than 30 minutes without working up a sweat! The scrubber has enough abrasive texture to melt the grime off the windows after a couple of swipes. The soap ate dirt (we live on a gravel road so it gets pretty bad) bird poop and fly crap right off! And the squeegee is the best I have EVER used! (you squeegee from top to bottom and overlap each pass by a couple of inches) I had absolutely NO STREAKS! You have no idea how great it feels to have such sparkling clean windows after very little effort. LOVE this set up! Only suggestion I would make is to get two extension handles so you don't have to keep swapping out the scrubber with the squeegee. It's not really a big deal, but would make it a little more streamlined! =D

I wanted to wait to review this until I had actually used it a few times. This has completely changed the way I look at cleaning windows and I can't believe I waited this long. Based on Internet searches, I used a solution of Dawn dish detergent and warm water to clean my windows. Not only was it significantly faster to wash them, they were cleaner and less streaky than when I use newspaper and glass cleaner. The "scrubber" is very soft and yet removed dried on dead bugs with ease. The squeegee worked flawlessly all 4 times I have used it, and is the clincher in getting streak-free windows. There were cheaper versions of this kind of thing on Amazon, however I believe I made a good choice. Materials are all high quality, could easily attach to an extension pole (of course this brand has it's own locking extension pole system, but any pole with some duct tape would work too). This was a great purchase and I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you haven't tried this method of washing windows yet. There are some great videos on YouTube about washing windows with these, check them out and save yourself a lot of time.

THIS COST-EFFECTIVE WAY TO GET A GREAT MICROFIBER SCRUBBER ALONG WITH THE IDEAL SQUEEGEE PROVED TERRIFIC as it's the dirt of any type that results in glass smearing or streaking when wiped dry if it's not been properly cleaned first. So the scrubber proved the ideal material to make it easy to remove without scratching so any type of cleaning solution should work well. A water-vinegar mix is said by many to be what works best of all if one can handle the smell of the vinegar. A friend who used to be a professional window cleaner said he experimented with all types of cleaning solutions & mixes & found THE MOST EFFECTIVE GLASS CLEANING SOLUTION was to mix 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap (he used Dawn but my gentler 7th Generation free & clear Dish Liquid worked fine) + 1/8 cup vinegar + 1 gallon of water. He said the value of adding a little bit of soap to the water-vinegar mix is that it helps the cleaning solution stay on the glass a little longer so it's easier to clean off before it dries which is what also helps avoid streaking. As I only have 14 windows & glass doors to clean here, his recommendation to just mix enough to fit in my 32 oz sprayer bottle worked ideally in providing more than enough spray + enabling the convenience of a spray bottle one can hang on one's belt instead of needing to carry a bucket full of liquid that can spill. NOTE THAT THE currently $8.53 "Ettore 45000 All Purpose Pole 5-Feet Interlock 2 Section Pole with Click-Lock Tip" FITS THIS SQUEEGEE & WINDOW CLEANING TOOL PERFECTLY SO NO NEED TO GET THE MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE REA-C-H EXTENSION POLES THE PACKAGE SAYS IS NEEDED as their cheapest option in that range is over $23 currently. When it first arrived I got scared thinking it wouldn't work after all due to seeing screw-in threads at the top of the pole but the beauty of that pole is it also enables a click-on option that fits this kit's items perfectly & locks them solidly into place super easily. I WAS GOING TO GET 2 OF THE EXTENSION POLES, 1 for the scrubber & 1 for the squeegee, but my friend correctly pointed out that there was no value in getting one for the squeegee as one has to climb on the ladder at that point anyway to properly wipe dry any left over drops. So it was more convenient to have a squeegee that can hang on one's belt while the microfiber towel hangs on one's shoulder & on the other the chamois cloth (to dry the squeegee after each pass as that cloth releases any dirt easily simply by rinsing with water unlike the microfiber & cotton cloths where the dirt gets embedded in so easily that often even extensive soaking in bleach can't fully remove without an extra strong detergent which my chemical sensitivities can't handle).

I just finished cleaning my windows using this cleaning kit. The cleaning head and the squeegie are two seperate units which either click on or screw on to an extention pole. I purchased the Ettore 43009 Extension REA-C-H Pole, 8-Feet and the Ettore 30116 Squeegee Off Window Cleaning Soap, 16-Ounce to go along with this kit. This system will save you from wasting tons of paper towels and muscle work trying to get off the grime. I am very pleased that I can clean my windows without a ladder and also the help of another person. To use the snap on pole, you must first use the cleaning head, take it off, and then snap on the squeegie. This isn't a big deal for one house but if you are going to do multiple houses, you should get another extenion pole. It worked so well that I even did my inside windows with it. It was very easy but I had to have a towel handy to catch the water.

Great for window washing upper outside windows

I eagerly opened this package today and immediately went to work erasing the dog nose art work all across my sliding glass doors. My immediate reaction was - wtf? How had I been wasting so much time with a paper towel and Windex (which mostly just moved the smudges around until my arms were tired). This works! Quickly. No going over spots over and over. I’m not getting paid squat for this review. I’m just hoping to save some other poor souls from the constant frustation of smudged glass doors. If your finger is lingering over “buy now,” let it linger no longer. Get it. And if you have kids, show them this “trick” for removing smudges and you can Tom Sawyer them into doing all your windows.

I had high expectations based on the reviews. It is better then the other ones I had in the past, but it still leaves water streaks (although a lot less than the other ones I had). I figured out a way though, to wipe it off easily. Instead of paper towels, I use a microfiber cloth to wipe off the few water streaks that are left on the window. It works perfectly. I also bought the Ettore window cleaning soap, which is I wonderful! Overall it is a pretty good purchase, I would recommend it.
