The flowers are stunning but the plant came badly damaged. One whole "arm" was broken off.
I order these every year at about Thanksgiving so they'll be in bloom for Christmas. This one looked so beautiful on the box with at least 2 main stalks. I opened it as soon as it arrived and sure enough 2 stalks had already begun to sprout - about 3" long. Unfortunately the box it came in left it no place to grow but curl around the bulb. (This is NOT a kit - you will need your own pot and soil). I transplanted the bulb immediately and put it under a grow-light to try to force the stalks upright. Only one responded. When I went in further to see why I say that the second stalk was severed from the bulb. It wasn't going to grow at all. It's a shame Because the one stalk that is intact has at least 5 blooms on it. It's gorgeous, the colors so vivid. It would have been great with 10 flowers on the whole plant.

no blooms on very overpriced bulbs
I ordered 5 these bulbs at +- 29.00 each. Not ONE of them bloomed. they were rotten (3 of them) when they arrived and hoping they might survive I treated them with great care and according to directions. Later that week I bought 5 bulbs at Trader Joes for 7.99 each. They all bloomed beautifully. What a rip-off. I will never buy another growing thing from Amazon and will look more carefully at the things I do buy.

Beautiful!!
I was skeptical about ordering a bulb online, but I thought I'd take a chance at this terrific price-point. I'm so glad that I did!! I think I'm going to order a few more to keep the magic blooming!! My friends are green with envy over my lovely winter blooms, and I have given a few people the link to purchase. It does take patience, following directions, and the willingness to take a chance. Sometimes they just don't bloom, so it's wise to buy two or three for every one that will potentially take off and bloom "correctly". I also purchased a waxed amaryllis bulb from another merchant, and that one is a dud so far; I don't think it's going to take off. Again, it's wise to buy two or three for every one that will turn into a winner!

Looks just like photo
Nice big bulb and two flower stalks. One stalk is in bloom with 4 flowers, the other is still in bud. Flowers have a bit more red veining than the photo. Very nice.

Dead? No, but their customer service is.
Outcome: This flower is amazing! She's the biggest one Ive ever had. 24" tall from soil to top. Days from blooming, and beautiful. BUT I never did hear back from customer service. Updated pics: bloom and post bloom. Update: I replanted the bulb even though there were no roots growing for weeks, just to see what would happen. I wasnt convinced it was completely dead. Sure enough, it started to grow. It hasnt bloomed but she looks healthy. Ill update again. So my revision is that the bulb they delivered was healthy BUT their customer service is non-existent. They NEVER responded to my questions and concerns. See original post below. Ive had the Amaryllis for 4 weeks now with no signs of growth. I sent Daylily a message asking for guidance and received an email on 2/15/25 saying my message was received. Its now 2/23 and they have not responded.

Beautiful healthy bulb
This is absolutely Beautiful. It has had 5 flowers bloom already! Just in time for Mother's Day.

Bulb was dead upon arrival.
The bulb was dead upon arrival. This was a gift for my sister in California. The only option to receive a refund was to return the bulb. As my sister had thrown it away that was not possible.

Beautiful budded bulbs & Outstanding Customer Service!
I received a bloomed bulb & went to the link on card provided. And to my pleasant surprise, they knew exactly what happened & without hesitation took my info. & sent replacement immediately. I’m so blown away by the customer service. They have exceeded my expectations & all my bulb purchases will be from Daily Lily nursery going forward. They highly recommend not requesting Prime delivery to ensure proper bulbs are delivered.Thank YOU for going the extra mile. I really do appreciate it. I highly recommend this product & company!

Nothing like the pic... Both the bulbs are the regular red colour flowers.. And it bloomed after a whole year
