This is a must have for all cross stitcher's It has a little of everything in it. 501 Cross Stitch Designs So many patterns and they are so easy to do and fit so many occasions. Wish I had this book a couple of months ago! I searched for months looking for a simple pattern to do on a handkerchief for a gift for the bride to be but never found one I liked. This book had plenty of cute wedding/bride patterns. Missed out on the last wedding but now I'll be ready for the next wedding. I loved the book and now have plans to make my own Christmas cards with the simple but cute patterns in this book. A must have book I'm sure you will love it too!

The patterns are cute and I’m pleased. The book that I received had an error in assembly…one partial section was missing and another partial section was duplicated.

Sam's work is bright, brilliant and bold. His pieces are small in this book but the motifs are uniquely his. I won't ruin the suprize for you but anyone who works in cross-stitch should be delighted with a book like this. These motifs are easily combined to create your own view of the world in Cross-Stitch. Happy needlework! This book is well worth the investment. It makes a wonderful addition to any library and is an excellent resource. The charts are black and white but can be enlarged if you should need or want to add color.

I love creating my own designs and this has always been my favorite cross stitch sampler book. From complicated to simple, you'll be able to find everything you like in this easily organized format. My original copy was accidentally sold in a yard sale so I was thrilled to find it here on Amazon. I bought my copy here used, in good condition for about $10 and the book was like new. If you cross stitch, you should have this in your library.

Good reference for cross stitch projects because there is so much variety in the book. It has a little bit of everything.

This book is really full of so many different animals and fruits and vegetables and more! My favorite is the chapter called "50 House Designs" that has all sorts of adorable houses that you could make into small pieces or into a larger piece with different homes that you like. This is my favorite part of the book. The "House Plant Designs" chapter is beautiful as well. I love this book. It is different than anything I have in my collection.

I have got many cross stitch books, the more I buy, it gives me more ideas and examples from the books. The whole book is excellent and easy read instructions and stitches. An ideal for beginner or expert like me.

Es un libro que esta en perfecto estado, se sabe que es de segunda mano porque te lo dicen pero podria pasar por nuevo. Buenisima compra y muy recomendable para hacer punto de cruz. Tiene mucha variedad de motivos y los numeros de las madejas lo indican en tres marcas diferentes con lo que es muy facil. Son muy bonitos. El libro es de tapa dura con forroy esta mejor que si fuera nuevo.

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich bei einer Auktion eine Stickvorlage von Sam Hawkins nicht ersteigern können. Ausserdem der Preis von 23 Euro war mir zu hoch für nur eine Stickvorlage. Wie der Zufall es wollte, fand ich eine Woche später das o.g. Buch bei Ihnen, das u.a. auch meine verpasste Stickvorlage beinhaltete. Da kann man vom Glück sprechen. Diesmal war der Preis überrraschend gut. Das Buch wurde mir in bestem Zustand, guter Verpackung und schnell zugeschickt. Dieses Stickbuch eignet sich für alle Kreuzstichfans, die gerne kleine Stickmotive mögen und gleichzeitig aus mehreren ein grosses Mustertuch zusammen stellen können. Bei Sam Hawkins haben die Stickmotive die typische amerikanische liebliche Art, finde ich. An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich bei Ihnen für alles bedanken.
