Lady cave
Very easy to put together. The last bar connection is tight but doable. I am a older woman and was able to do all of it by myself. Took less than a hour to have it hanging in my yard. I did buy a separate hanging kit that made it very easy to hang on my tree. It is so cozy inside. I have taken many naps already. Doing work inside would be difficult. It is not made for sitting up. It sags in the middle. The bottom is not pulled tight making it good for lounging but not for sitting upright. I hope this helps you with your decision.

Not the real Cacoon, knock off.
Easy to assemble. Says it supports up to 400lbs. It does not. My husband is 230lbs. He got in and frame bent. Also this is a knock off of original Cacoon. So very misleading. Same name, but compare logo to the real deal (check their website). How is Amazon legally selling this?

Super cool but WILL make you Dizzy!!
Little tough to assemble but looks good and roomy. Many kids were very dizzy after being in it for a minute

Ridiculously hard to put together
I have been trying to put this together (with help) for over an hour. It is impossible to put the ring together without some of it falling apart. Iโm so frustrated right now I could scream $235 for something that is impossible to use!

Nice hammock alternative
Hammocks are popular with my family. With the addition of a new apartment building directly behind our house, we wanted a little more privacy. The Cacoon (or "The Pod" as my daughter likes to call it) was very easy to set up as we have a large tree with perfectly placed (and very strong) branches. Assembly would have been easier with a second person helping, but I managed it on my own. It has three loops around the perimiter for tie downs but it did not come with tie-down ropes or tent pegs to secure them. Fortunately we have lots of those here, so that was not a problem. I HIGHLY recommend using tie-down to secure the Cacoon to prevent it from blowing around too much. It really does catch the wind. If it repeatedly hit a tree or fence it would eventually damage the canvas where it is stretched over the hoop. Not seen in this photo is the good quality length of black rope and the heavy carabiner holding it up. Over-all it seems well made and we quite like the design.
