Ear piercing loud to scare off anybody!
I added a pair of these to my alarm using z-wave. One in the garage and one in the hallway. They are very loud and will surely be heard by anyone within or nearby outside of my home. Great theft deterrent on top of the monitoring service. They were also very easy to add to my alarm from alarm.com using the 2 gig panel. I recommend this product. They use batteries and I haven't needing to replace them over 4 months now since alarm siren does not go off very often. Great addition to the alarm!

Battery-only device
This siren is loud and it interfaced to my system easily, but it's designed to run on four C batteries and does not come with an AC adapter. Not sure if that fact is disclosed in the description, but if it is I certainly didn't see it before buying.

Finally found one that works with my 2GIG system!
Before making this purchase, I purchased two other Z-Wave sirens and they didn't work on my 2GIG system. Finally, with this product I found something that worked. Where the alarm panel is located, we can't really hear the system when the alarm goes off from our master bedroom upstairs. To be able to install this siren upstairs, I needed to extend the Z-Wave signal. I purchased a two pack Z-Wave extender/amplifier for $59.99, I placed one near the stairs leading upstairs and the other one on the 2nd level. I tested the siren upstairs and it works perfectly! The system also has a connection in the battery compartment for a power adapter. If you use a power adapter, essentially the batteries can be a backup when the power goes out.

This siren is loud!!! ...but easy to pair with a SmartThings hub.
I bought this siren so I could have a remote siren connected to my SmartThings hub and it works and I have intended. It paired very easily and SmartThings recognized it almost instantly. The device is extremely lout when you have it set to the 100 db. setting. What I liked about the product: 1. It was easy to pair. 2. It is very loud, but there is a jumper that sets it to 90 db which is better if it is going to be in a central location. 3. It can be mounted almost anywhere since it is wireless and battery operated. 4. The tamper can be disabled. 5. You can connect an optional power supply if you do not want to rely on batteries. 6. SmartThings App does read the battery level. What can use improvement: 1. The instructions were informative in some aspects and in other aspects they left me scratching my head. 2. It is larger than one might expect. 3. The strobe would not necessarily get your attention in daylight. 4. No alert sent to SmartThings app when tampered. I honestly would have rated higher, but the instructions were lacking on the dip switch settings, so I had to tinker with the device in order to figure out what the settings actually did. The top jumper will set the sound to 100db or 90 db. You need to remove the jumper for 90 db operation. The instructions list this as Two-Phase Sound Jumper Link which made me think it changed the sound frequency rate, but instead it is the sound level. The bottom jumper is a bit more obvious and it is labeled Tamper Jumper link. Remove the jumper to inhibit a siren alert when the cover is removed. I would rather have a notification to my ST app than an ear piercing siren going off in my ear when I need to remove the cover. I know many people would use this feature if it would be mounted in an area prone to tampering, so I agree it needs to be a feature. I mainly wish the instruction just listed the settings and what is changed by removing the jumper. It could easily be done as follows: Two-Phase Sound Jumper Link: On = 100 db sound level. Off = 90 db sound level Tamper Jumper Link: On = Audible Alert When Tampered. Off = No Alert When Tampered. Overall I am happy with the device and I would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully my review will help people in the future when they are setting up their siren.

Great alarm!
I've had this for about 6 months now. It's give off numerous times (because of me and my wife setting off the alarm by accident) but still shows over 90% battery. Great value overall and it's pretty loud!

Save yourself the money and trouble and don't buy this product
This thing was a complete waste of money. We bought it to pair with our Smartthings hub for better home security and it worked fine for about 2 months. After the 2 months, we noticed it never went off like it was supposed to and decided to investigate further. Ultimately, we discovered that the siren was indeed going off, but the sound level was so low that the siren was nearly inaudible. We thought that it might need new batteries, so we went out and picked up new batteries for it. Sadly, that did not correct the problem and now our siren is useless because you have to literally put your ear against the siren to hear it. To make matters worse, the "Everspring" company who makes this product has no customer service. Like, their customer service is NONEXISTENT. When you go to the company's website, the only phone number they provide is for a number in Taiwan. They do have an email contact form, which I submitted...it has been over 2 months and I haven't heard from them yet. We will certainly not buy anything from this company again.

It's a great z-wave product
It's a great z-wave product. I did not see the instructions for setting it up and would have not have figured it out save for a little googling. I also did not find the component for reducing the shrill sound, and you cannot determine the level using the software (where's that?). It shows up as a switch in Indigo Touch (the program I am using). But after setup, it works perfectly even when my speakers are offline.

Loud and easy to install
This siren is fairly compact, and can easily be placed anywhere. If there is power nearby, a DC converter can be used (must be 633mA or higher). Without batteries the unit is light, but the batteries make it a decent weight. This works well for me since it sits on a shelf. They include all hardware for mounting to wall/ceiling. The siren is very loud and high pitch, impossible to miss (for me and all my neighbors). Pairing the device was extremely easy. Push a button under the battery cover to include in your z-wave network.

It works
Have not had any issues with it. Connects to Smartthings easily and works on command.

Pretty big and loud, but a bit basic.
Pretty easy to setup with my Almond +, but does not have a lot of customization options beyond on/off when a specific rule is triggered. Also, does not come with AC adapter and will inevitably trigger when opening the lid to change batteries (as it counts as tampering).

Decent siren
Easy to setup with smartthings hub V3,integrates natively but very slow response and only basic functions.

It was very easy to install with excellent instructions
We added this to our Cor Home automation system to provide secondary alerts to areas further away from our main panel. It was very easy to install with excellent instructions.
