Informative, clear and concise.
Well written book, laid out in easy to follow clear sections, covering a multitude of topics in the craft of jewellery making. Great source of information if you're new to jewellery making like me. Would recommend.

JAB (Just another book)
An OK book, it doesn't really inspire you to become a designer or more specifically to design and make your own jewellery.

The book is ok, but quite technical for someone who has never beaded before.
I stupidly thought beading was just a case of threading pretty beads onto wire/cotton thread, but it’s a whole lot more technical than that, it seems. I had some necklaces that had broken and I kept the beads for repair and also bought a few new ones to complement the old ones. I had no idea that you need specialist pliers and “crimpers” etc in order to make necklaces or bracelets. It makes what appeared to be a fun craft into a potentially expensive one. Maybe I should have bought a book before I got the beads, but I thought it would be easy!

Easy to understand
Easy to read and understand has a lot of detail about tools and different techniques. Definitely a good book to buy for beginners
