Irish Setter Ashby 6" Mens Soft Toe Work Boot

Perfect. I could not ask for more. This is my first Irish Setter boot I have purchased and I went with the wider option and they are just perfect. I am breaking them in but they feel good with boot socks on and really show that the quality is outstanding. I am really impressed as most boots kind of hurt for the first few weeks but these feel good almost like they are broken in already. The company that sent them put them in a REALLY COOL box like I have never seen and it really protected them to perfection, so kudos to them for the excellent new box strategy that is just epic. I am very happy with these boots I really could not ask for better. Color is nice, fit is perfect. They smell like leather. Awesome!

I wear these boots when I mow. They are very comfortable. Very well made boots.

These are much different than the safety toe version. Fitment is horrible. Rub your heel raw. Tried giving them a chance to "break in" and missed the return window

Pleasantly surprised that these have a leather welt vs. the current model of Ashby with a plastic welt. I believe these are an older model as they are no longer on the website and are made in the Dominican Republic, not Vietnam. Sprayed them with Aquaseal suede and nubuck spray and the water runs right off. I wouldn't wade in them, but excellent in puddles and wet grass. Awesome boots!

Good quality boots held up for the time being. They scuff and wear quickly but for a outdoors boot it doesn't matter to me. They are comfortable after a mild break inand run just wide enough for my quad e 9.5 foot to fit.

Leather on these is softer than the dark browns. Easier to break in, just saying guys. Also this isn't the only boot brand I use but it's the most comfy/light weight for it's price. Lasts about a year before I buy a new pair

I'm returning these. I ordered 9W but they're not very wide at all. They definitely run small so I suggest ordering a half size bigger than what you need. Maybe my foot is the problem but these things rub the back of my heel pretty bad. I only took about 10 steps in them and could tell right away that my heel would be rubbed raw probably within an hour. I was disappointed to since I believe Irish Setters are made by Redwing and Redwing is a great boot. These don't have heavy soles like Redwing, but that also means they won't be as durable. Can't comment on the traction or whether or not they are waterproof. Oh, and the shoelaces feel like plastic.

I really like these boots. They are comfortable right out of the box. I have been wearing them for two weeks and they are getting more comfortable. So far the quality seems very good. They fit perfectly.
