Good for beginners. I'm one.
So I went through a handful of books looking for one that would diagram the exercises. Along with visual representations of the muscles they work. This hits both marks nicely. Since I don't know jack beyond the basics you learn in school and the military. There's definitely more than that in here. Along with a few variations on some of the basics we all know and loath... love... love... If I repeat it enough, I'm told I'll believe it. This is my initial impression and reasoning anyway. I may need to come back and reevaluate later.

This is written by one of my favorite trainers! Coming from the era of Gladys Portuguese and Hard Bodies - I now have a new training bible :-). Very informative for all levels - a wealth of information. Highly recommend!!

A good second edition
An excellent book on body weight conditioning. The instructions are clear and the drawings are clear and you can understand how the muscles in the body work.

Bodyweight Strength Training Book
This a a good book to read about Strength Training and I have found it a useful reference. I am slowly reading the book with a few pages per day.
