Men's Gilliam Jacket

Great quality and kept my husband warm at 30F-60F temps. With the lower temps he wore a hoodie underneath and was very comfortable. This jacket has a relaxed fit so he sized down to a L (typically wears an XL). Material feels nice, it’s not bulky and can be packed away easily. We ended up buying another one for my son.

surprisingly warm and water resistant. i've used it on a motorcycle in rain and i was toasty warm. and no clothing is "toasty warm" on a motorcycle. these fit me great. i've always been in between a men's medium and large, so i've always worn Large, because i cannot stand tight clingy jackets. the Medium is absolutely perfect for me. like it so much i bought another. it is damn near impossible to find warm coats/jackets that do not have hoods, or lame looking collars. my first-ever piece of Carhartt gear. very good.

The fit of the jacket is pretty good, it does fall onto the hand a bit, but that can be fixed with the adjustable cuff, which is an amazing addition. I also love the many pockets in the jacket and the slightly loose fit, allowing you to layer underneath. I wore it in 30 degree weather and it works well with a sweater underneath. It is waterproof and works well when dealing with wind. It really is a great all-rounder jacket, also suitable for mild winters with a t-shirt underneath. I like it.

I've been using this jacket on colder days. It is nice and warm and has held up to working conditions well. I ordered this when I sent my Carhartt soft shell in to have the zipper replaced. The jacket has exceeded my expectations and is built very well. I"ll definitely buy another if I ever need to replace this one.

Great quality, Coat runs a size big. I'm 6'3", 190 lbs. and usual wear a XL due to shoulder width and arm length. The Large tall fits correctly for me in this coat. The coats midsection runs relaxed as its a little oversized for my midsection but the length is correct and the front fits 4 fingers below belt line area. I could easily wear a light inner vest for those colder days with no issues if needed. The cuffs are adjustable velcro at the sleeves, outer hand pockets are 1 snap closer, outer and inner zip side chest pocket, and 1 inner chest pocket that's open at the top with middle velcro closer. Until the weather gets colder, unknown about its water proof / warms, thus the 4 star review.

My husband absolutely loves this jacket! He has had one for several years and when the weather gets chilly, it’s the only jacket he wears. It gets very cold in the Texas Panhandle area but keeps him quite comfortable. I bought him a second one in case he ever needs another. It’s very light but also very warm. The quality is absolutely superb, just as you would expect from Carhartt.

Lightweight and roomy (without looking bulky), solid construction - great for work. I'm 75 kg and 185 cm tall - size small fits perfectly with some room for layering.

Die Jacke ist sehr leicht aber hält super warm. Die Größe XXL passt perfekt. Mein Mann ist sehr groß, kann aber wenn er möchte, noch einen dicken Pullover darunter tragen. Kann, aber er sagt, die Jacke hält so warm. Wirklich sehr gute Qualität.
