X-Force by Kyle and Yost Complete Collection Vol. 1 (X-Force (2008-2012))

This book is better than most so-called summer blockbusters. The fight sequences and the story are top-notch. The characters are more than compelling. Get ready for one helluva ride.

Great era of X-Force hard to believe it's been a decade since this came out. Amazing art, bloody, darker great stuff.

Great story and amazing artwork! Definitely worth reading if you're a fan of the darker side of the X-Men universe. All the best assassins, killers, hunters on one team doing the most brutal things to keep their species alive.

I purchased this after reading Rick Remenders "Uncanny X-Force" and it was a stellar Read. I didn't need any back story to follow what was going on and the art was really good. The only things that are a downside to this collection is that it doesn't contain anything from messiah war and a couple of the issues art is a bit cartoony for my liking

Just an excellent book. My only criticism--and it's the one I had when I bought the original issues-is sometimes the art is too dark and you cant tell what happened but overall, it's exactly what a book starring Wolverine and X-23 should be.The return of Archangel was a highlight for me and still stands up upon re-reading.

This collection of X Force stories is okay. The first few issues are pretty rough in my opinion. Something about the way Wolverine is written seems a bit off through the first 3 issues. Like he's never seen anything like what's going on in his entire life, but the story never really ever does anything to sell you on it.Also, there is no really cool uses of power anywhere in this collection, on the exception of Angel.Overall it's not a terrible collection. It's a decent story which is very action heavy. There are much better collections you could buy but at a good price I would say pick it up.

Dark art ranges from beautiful to very good. Some of the panels are photo realistic. Story jumps around alot but is enjoyable. Started out strong with both art and writing, less strong at times. Would recommend.

No começo desse livro, temos Ciclope discutindo com Logan sobre como lidar com uma ameaça consideravelmente perigosa que acaba de surgir. Mas os X-Men já não estão acostumados com isso? Já não enfrentaram situações preocupantes? Sim. Porém agora os mutantes se tornaram uma espécie em extinção, com seu número reduzido para 200 ou 300 mutantes apenas (consequência da saga Dinastia M). Então cada baixa, cada morte de um mutante, ou de um X-man em missão, conta mais do que nunca.Logo, Ciclope, responsável pelos X-Men e pela raça mutante, pede para que Wolverine monte uma equipe que neutralize as ameaças antes que elas representem um perigo real à existência dos mutantes, uma equipe que faça o que um X-man comun não faria: matar quem for preciso matar. A X-Force inicialmente é composta por Wolverine, X-23, Arcanjo, Apache e Lupina.Esse primeiro livro reúne 13 edições que compõem os 3 primeiros arcos da equipe (todos excelentes), um edição especial e uma anual. Na minha opinião, vale a pena pra caramba mesmo! Recomendo!Obs: Toda essa fase dos mutantes: Dinastia M, Complexo de Messias, X-Force completa, Segundo Advento, culminando em Vingadores Vs X-Men (sendo esse último, a única saga/arco que divide opiniões), eu acho que é uma fase que merece muito ser lida. Espero ter ajudado.

If you like violence in comics, this one's for you. The story is so great and the drawing is realy different and kind of cool.

This is the best incarnation of X-Force. The Art work goes perfectly. In previous teams of Marvel's tough anti-hero teams the artwork being to cartoonish has let it down, here it is like watching a movie. The covet art is how the art is throughout 12 out of 15 issues.The X-men's black ops team have been unleashed. There mission is to eliminate the threats. Led by Wilverine (of course), his "daughter" X-23. X-23 was made for this life but Wolverine wants more for her the team kind of forms quite loosely. With some awsome guest stars.Everything about the book is awsome. Even though Wolverine is being pushed as the main characters it is X-23 that steals the show for me. I first read these individually and these book kept me sn X-men fan. Re-reading the them all toghter made me remember how awsome they are.

Yes, very good story compilation showing the proper start of X-Force.The trio of Wolverine, Warpath and X-23 is always morally and ethically ambiguous, something the material is not afraid of confronting head on.My only complaint is that none of the story threads end by the end of the book, and you are literally forced to buy another one (X-Force-linked) in order to know what happens to them all.
