An impressive mobile phone for 2026.
I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed with this device. After two years with my previous S24, I felt it was time for an upgrade, and purchasing this sleek, state-of-the-art phone on the instalment plan was a decision I’m glad I made. One of the standout features of the S26 Ultra is its robust 5,000 mAh lithium-ion battery. I’ve found that it lasts remarkably long, easily powering me through a day of heavy use, including browsing, taking photographs, and streaming. The battery management seems optimised, so I don’t have to worry about running out of juice as often. As a photography enthusiast, I find camera quality incredibly important, and the S26 Ultra does not disappoint. It boasts an impressive camera setup that I believe ranks among the best of 2026. Whether I’m taking stunning landscapes or capturing spontaneous moments, the clarity and detail are exceptional. The camera features various modes that enhance my photography experience, from low-light capabilities to a professional-grade portrait mode. Another feature I appreciate is the dual SIM capability. The phone supports two active SIM cards, which allows me to manage both my numbers seamlessly on one device. It’s convenient to switch between them without the hassle of carrying multiple phones. Additionally, I learned that while only two SIMs or eSIMs can be active at any given time, the S26 Ultra can store multiple eSIMs, which adds to its flexibility. One of the most innovative features is the world’s first privacy display on a mobile phone. This technology is particularly useful when I’m reading sensitive information in public, like on a train or in a busy café. The privacy display ensures that only I can see the content on the screen, providing peace of mind in situations where my data could be exposed. Overall, I find the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to be a remarkable high-tech mobile phone. Its blend of cutting-edge features, impressive performance, and user-friendly design makes it a device I thoroughly appreciate and highly recommend to anyone in the market for an upgrade. Whether you’re a tech-savvy individual or just someone looking for a reliable smartphone, the S26 Ultra is undoubtedly a worthy investment.

Excellent Phone, but Android Auto Issues Let It Down.
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and overall it’s a fantastic phone with loads of premium features. The 200MP camera is incredible, photos come out sharp, detailed, and vibrant, and it’s easily one of my favourite things about the device. The performance is also top-tier thanks to the Snapdragon processor and 12GB RAM, everything runs smoothly and fast. The battery life is solid and comfortably gets me through a full day, and the display looks amazing with great clarity and brightness. It definitely feels like a high-end device in every way. However, the main issue I’ve had is with Android Auto, which has been quite frustrating. Since getting the phone, I’ve experienced connection problems and inconsistent performance when using it in the car. It doesn’t always work as smoothly as expected, which has been a bit of a letdown considering how good the rest of the phone is. Aside from that, I really can’t fault it, it’s powerful, well-built, and packed with features. If the Android Auto issues get resolved, the finger print seson works quick and is very secure and the phone is really easy to set up and first use out of the box.

Potentially only my second Samsung in 16 years +
This was an essential but welcome purchase due to my old galaxy note 9 being 3g network compatible. However due to the excellent 2g signal, it's now an extremely good dumb phone for the house, and hopefully it'll be around until the scheduled 2g switch off in 2033. The reason I went for the 1tb option was due to the inability to use a micro sd card, but that comes with a16gb ram bonus. After my initial lack of enthusiasm at having to part with big chunk of money for a phone, I'm absolutely thrilled that I did, because this phone has become my go to stills video and pocket computer, and if this phone is as reliable as my previous phone, it'll be only my second phone in 16 years. Bargain👌

SO BAD! Packaged for return ASAP.
Totally not worth it. What have they done to screen? I'm going from an A10 that has brighter more vivid display compared to the S26. I tried it for few hours and it was so bad. And no, the privacy settings weren't on. Vivid display was whacked up too. My A10 was richer with half display brightness. S26 battery was dying from a half hour browse on YouTube! It was forcing Ai everything. Wasn't presented as good as previous Samsung. Can't tell you if photos are good because the display is poor so can't tell. Major disappointment. Reading thoughts on reddit etc it appears from the S24 onwards more users noticing colour fade on displays. Could I be moving away from Samsung since the i900 in late 00s? Overall not worth the money when A range are banging out those colours. Noticed zero improvement with lag on fast games compared to A10 and partner's A35. Screen size not worth the 0.2mm extra over the A35's 6.7". Poor value for money! Genuinely disappointed.

Another good samsung no complaints
Its probably my 7th samsung s series. They've never let me down. I know this is branded as an AI phone however its not really noticeable. The camera is spot on and the AI tool for cleaning up pics is brilliant. For me I want something with a good camera and this ticks the boxes for me. I have upgraded from an s20 and this just feels so fast and slick. I managed to get this phone on release heavily discounted so happy over all. Generally I find playing up front on release if best way to get a new phone.
