Did the job.
I didn't get this for it's intended use. I had a frozen oil filter on my truck. I got this to take it off. Worked like a charm. The four teeth fit the oil filter kneck perfectly. And spun it right off. I'm keeping it for future issues that may arise.

For shaft nut on Chevy transmission
I will have to modify it to fit, but that was expected. I have to make it deeper and I will need to grind the inside. The picture is what came in the package. I thought it was funny that they sent only the tab with no socket. I had to reorder and they should be reimbursing me for the first order.

Fantastic tool - MUST own for you 4x4 tool kit!
Previous owner did quite a number on my Spline Nuts, definitely took a chisel or screwdriver to them and cut off the corners on all 4 indents. I was able to remove the nuts still with this tool, the “teeth” are plenty long enough to hopefully grab on to what’s left of the nut if you had the same issue as I did. I used it to install new spindle nuts on my 1987 Ford Bronco 5.0 XLT, w/ Dana 44 front ends. I was able to torque the outer nut to the required 200 ft-lbs. tool is well worth buying, I’d rather you buy the tool than spend $60 on a new set of nuts like I had to!
