Retro Arcade Machine for Switch/OLED/Switch 2 with Screenshot Icon Button, Orange and Blue (Screen Not Included)

Bought this for arcade games like Donkey Kong and Marvel Maximum Collection on my Switch 2. Was easy to set up and, for the single player games I enjoy, the stick and buttons work to replicate an old school arcade. Only cons I got are that the Switch 2 cradle took a bit of finagling to fit and this doesn’t come with an ac adapter. But if, like me, you want to replicate a cabinet it’s pretty fun.

Got a switch 2 and needed something to do with my switch 1. I got a TON of retro games and arcade games from NES Snes Gen Neo geo And alot more. Like at least 500 of em. So I got this thing and turned my switch 1 into a miniature arcade with all the classics and retro games.

this switch arcade cabinet is awesome. it’s plastic but very solid, and easy to assemble. i mainly use it to play old school arcade fighting games and platform games. it worked fine on my switch 2, oled, and switch 1. any games that require both analog sticks and the d-pad don’t work well. the joystick and buttons feels good. i thought the smaller size would be an issue, but it isn’t. the cabinet feels good in the lap, as well as on a table or flat surface. there’s a few things i wish they would’ve added or improved though. sliding the switch in and out of the cabinet is a bit finicky at times, where the usb c port doesn’t align properly. i wish they swapped the position of the R and L buttons, so L is on the left and R is on the right, would make it easier for play pinball games. you can remap the buttons in the switch settings, but wish i didn’t have to do that. there’s no place to put or dock your joycons on the cabinet. there is an area directly behind the switch where it’s docked but not the most elegant solution. the usb c port on the bottom only supports charging, and from my experience doesn’t support video out, from the docks and hubs i’ve tried. i used a usb c extension cable just to test it out on the ipad mini, and it worked just fine. i also used it on my lenovo legion go, and works but you’ll have to map the buttons on steam. i’m not a huge fan of the graphics on the cabinet itself, but it’s nothing bad. overall definitely a good purchase if you’re into arcade cabinets. i already own a table top cabinet and this one is much smaller which i like.

Fantastic. When literally the well known one was being scalped was skeptical of this one but Im happy to say it works. Btw go to Honcams website they have the drivers there. Buttons feel good stick is decent this is basically the best wayy to play Arcade Archives Scott Pilgrim Shredders Revenge amd TMNT Cowabunga Collection. Very happy with it just get this one don't pay the scalper prices for the ai generated one.

I’m very aggravated I bought this thing. I can’t figure out how to get to work. YouTube reviews are terrible. It’s not what I thought it would be. I thought it would be simple to use simple plug-in play. Terrible instructions.

I tested this with several arcade style games available through Nintendo Switch Online, including Street Fighter, Double Dragon, and Battletoads. All of the buttons worked perfectly and the controls felt responsive. From a functionality standpoint it performs just like a normal controller. Setup was also quick and painless. I had everything connected and running without any issues. The design is honestly one of the coolest parts of this product. The arcade cabinet style and artwork make it really stand out. If you have a place to display it when you are not actively playing, it actually looks like a fun little piece of gaming decor. That said, when the Switch is not docked in it, the unit does look a bit odd sitting by itself. Gameplay worked well overall, but the joystick and overall control area felt a little small for my hands. I have fairly large hands and I found it harder to get precise movements compared to a full size arcade stick. Price is the other thing worth mentioning. This is definitely a niche product. It functions as both a controller and a small dock style display piece, so it is a bit difficult to judge exactly where the price should land. It does feel a little expensive, but if you are someone who loves arcade games and unique controllers, the novelty and design may absolutely be worth it.

Had problems at first to get it to work with switch 1 but seller helped me fix the problem.

Unfortunately, the controller did not work at all. I tried it with two separate Nintendo switches. Both would charge when installed into the arcade dock, but the joystick and buttons didn't work at all.
