I bought it for recordings of a combination of conversation and piano playing. I suspected that there are two microphone ports even for the one microphone model, so I got the one microphone model so I could save some money. It turns out that I was right, you got all the features with two microphone plugins, and I could use the other port for whatever input I want. The board itself works well, and honestly is the big reason why I got it. Earphones and microphones can be better, but they are great for this set, and you could easily start your own podcast with everything in it. It is a one stop shop to start something on your own!

I've been on and off with streaming for years, and my set up has always been a reason I felt awkward to stream long term. My voice always felt off and trying to fiddle with the audio interface strictly digitally never felt quite right. This combo has made everything ten times easier! I got this podcast bundle because I wanted to start streaming and making better videos without spending a crazy amount of money on a bunch of separate pieces. The setup was actually really easy to figure out. I love that the microphone can plug right into my computer with a normal USB cable so I could use it right away, but it also has an XLR plug if I ever want to upgrade my equipment later on. The whole kit feels pretty solid and not like cheap, hollow plastic, which honestly surprised me for the price. The sound quality is a huge step up from my old headset mic. It does a really great job of picking up just my voice and ignoring the background noise in my room, like my loud computer fans or clicking keyboard. The mixer board is also super fun to use. It lets you change your volume easily and mess around with audio levels right on the spot without tabbing out of my games. Plus, the RGB lights on the mixer look awesome sitting on my desk and really pop on camera. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instruction manual isn't very helpful for beginners. When you first look at the mixer, there are a lot of buttons and dials, and it took me a little while of just guessing and playing around with it to figure out exactly what everything does. However, once you finally get the hang of it, it works perfectly. If you are looking for a solid, affordable starter kit for gaming or podcasting that looks cool and sounds professional, this is still totally worth buying.

Items were as shown. But will not connect to my laptop. I even tried getting support but still could not get to connect. So basically I have equipment now that I can not use.
