Being used to a keyboard case that I use with my work-issued iPad, I was not expecting to have to charge the keyboard separately from my Samsung Galaxy Tablet. This means that I need to charge both each night, switching between the two with the same USB-C cord halfway through the evening. That is a bit of a pain. Furthermore, the keyboard isn’t actually attached to the case! When the case is closed, it has so far stayed in place, but comes apart as soon as I open the cover.

The case and overall design of this thing is pretty good. It's thin, and while it and the keyboard more than double the weight of the tablet alone--I'm using it with a Samsung A9+--you get very good protection, the case is stiff. When you set it up with the board, the case does a fairly good job of holding the tablet up much like a laptop screen, though if it's jostled or if you have less than a perfectly flat surface the case can slip down--not a big deal, it won't hurt anything, but it can be a bit of an annoyance. The keyboard works fairly well, but it's not great. It's pretty flimsy and cheap feeling, with little key travel or feel--but to be fair, you want something thin and light, so it's a fair trade-off. It connects very easily, I had absolutely no trouble hooking it up to bluetooth the first time, and it has flawlessly autoconnected ever since. Typing is a little hit-or miss--I get occasional missed characters, and sometimes there's a lag of up to a second or two before a typed character shows up on the screen, which can be distracting, But again, these aren't terrible trade-offs in order to get something that essentially turns your tablet into a nearly full-function, ultra-lightweight and -compact laptop.

I do like this case for my new Galaxy tablet. I'm not real impressed with the loose keyboard, it keeps wanting to fall out, even though there are magnets in the case that are supposed to hold it in. It did connect easily via Bluetooth, so that was nice. I wish it had a way to secure the keyboard so it didn't come out so easily. I've picked it up a few times and the keyboard just fell out, not good. I docked a star for that. The keyboard is easy to use and works well. The charging cable for it is very short, so I just use a longer one. The case itself hold the tablet nice and secure and is easy to use for games or ebooks, but with the keyboard in it, it's hard to use it for that stuff. I do like it and it's perfect for what I am using it for. The dark green is subtle. I like the little area to store my stylus pen, and you can still close the case with the stylus at your finger tips. The case has all the right holes for my tablet camera and charger, etc. It's pretty well made and has small intentions for different viewing angles.
