Great Breathable Hydration Backpack for Trails
The is a lightweight pack that comes with a 2L water bladderโperfect for staying hydrated on runs, hikes, or bike rides without lugging a bunch of bottles. Iโve been using this for my weekend trail runs and shorter hikes around Ohio, and itโs been solid for keeping water handy. One question I had before buying was whether itโd bounce around during movementโnope, it sits pretty stable once adjusted. Pros: * Super lightweight and breathable back panel keeps things from getting too sweaty on longer efforts. * The 2L bladder holds plenty for 2-3 hours out (easy to sip from the tube without stopping). * Good pockets up front for phone, keys, and a couple gelsโquick access without digging. Cons: * The straps could use a bit more padding for all-day comfort; after a couple hours, they dig in a little on my shoulders. * Bladder filling/cleaning is straightforward, but the tube can kink if not routed right. From my trial, one tip: fill the bladder only about 3/4 full at first and test it for leaks while walking aroundโbetter than discovering a drip mid-run. Also, loop the tube through the shoulder strap clip to keep it from flopping. Overall, itโs a reliable, no-frills option that does the job well for casual runners or hikers who donโt need ultra-fancy gear. Beats carrying a handheld bottle any day, though if youโre doing serious ultras, you might want something with more cushioning.

Comfortable, compact, pefect for day hikes!
I'm new to the hydration backpack scene. I've done some incredible hikes and have varied my water from the simple standard stainless water bottles to foldable water bottles. But water backpack is taking hydration to a new level. I'm very happy to have this hydration backpack as my first. It's sporty, compact, and once you know what you are doing easy to use. The 2L capacity is an excellent amount for a day hike. Carries plenty of water and doesn't pack on too much weight. The backpack itself it very lightweight. It comes with extra pockets that give me a spot to carry a snack and my phone. I'm a small person and it definitely doesn't overpower me, it's still and easy carry. I had never used a bite valve before and needed to read up to figure out what it was and how to use it. It's actually very simple but puzzling if you have never tried. After removing the cap you pinch or bit on the soft silicone portion and then suck the water out. The seal at the top of the water container holds very well. No leakage at all which is great for reliability for your water supply and you don't want to get your clothes wet out on a hike. I'm very pleased with my new hydration backpack. It's so comfortable and compact I'm bringing it with me on my upcoming trip to the Dolomites.

Awesome hydration backpack!
I own a few Ecohub bags at this point because I love that they recycle plastic bottles into really sturdy and water resistant bags! This is my latest addition to the collection, since ive been needing to get a new hydration backpack to use during hikes and music festivals. Idk who made the rule that you can either bring a clear bag or a hydro bag that doesnโt have to be clear, but either way this is a great option with some cool features. It comes with the bladder 2L I think, and has a few replacement rubber rings for the connection of the hose to the bag. The backpack itself has the official 2 max pockets/zips that festivals ask for. It has a nice hidden bit at the bottom that you can unfold an included mesh cover for the front for additional storage space eg bringing a jacket or something similarly light in the front of the bag. The straps are adjustable and one side has a small mesh pocket and the other has a zippered pocket for smaller items or even an AirTag. I trust this brand when it comes to quality, so Iโd definitely recommend this bag if youโre looking for something comfortable and reliable.

Great active gear - Large water capacity
The Ecohub backpack was a durable small hiking back held up during various long hikes. Its practically weightless when it comes to the backpack itself. - The backpack itself was enough to store the large water pouch, aswell as other hiking necessities. The 2L water bladder fits nicely inside, providing 0 leaks over long durations of traveling. The water condensation on the bladder was also minimal! The straps were nice and adjustable - the nice enough padding that it didnt cut into your shoulders. Do keep in mind of size when hiking as the it for lightweight running / hiking. The backpack folds away nice and small for when not in use- Proving great for traveling and "on the go" movement. The color of the backpack is entirely pitch black, so any night time usage should look towards a high colored vest - a active gear. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a high quality low priced hiking backpack for active / small activity person! 5/5

Lightweight and functional design for outdoor adventures.
I was immediately impressed with the ECOHUB Hydration Backpack when it arrived. The smart design and construction are very appealing. I ordered the green color. I love the contrast between the darker forest green color and the lighter green accent colors. The reflective trim is a nice touch to add visibility if you are in an area with vehicular traffic. The fit is very comfortable with the chest strap to make sure the pack stays put. The construction is durable, but light weight so as to not add unnecessary weight. There are plenty of storage compartments to carry any extra items that you may need for your outing. There is even a mesh net that you can clip up on the back for stowing a jacket or other outer wear that you may need to shed or add during your activities. The 2L water bladder provides plenty of capacity for hydration and is easily removable from its compartment on the back. Included are 2 additional washers in case you need to replace those that are used to connect the hose to the bladder. I am extremely happy with the ECOHUB Hydration Backpack and look forward to using it on my hiking adventures.

Simple & Easy, but try it out/set it up before you need it anyway.
It's not complicated, but learning how it works, well before going out the first time is a Good Idea. It is indeed light of weight, and rests easily on my small but (all too) bulky frame. The fill line isn't kidding - fill to that and then the way things are sealed, that container is FULL. The insulation does a very good job of keeping the bulk of the water cold for hours - I used it for most of a work shift (hiking in Winter in the frozen north is... not for this ancient creature) and even at the 7.5 hour mark the last of the water was cold. Mind, this might change in real outdoor Summer heat. But then, hydration is more important than water temperature. The only downside is unavoidable - the first water of each drink will be "warm" as the transfer tubing is not insulated. But insulation for that would be problematic and add bulk in the very place(s) it would be least welcome. The mouth piece is not just a simple "bite for flow" but has to be pulled out to open. The cover for the mouthpiece doesn't get in the way, and is reassuring as it keeps unwanted things away from the bit you put in your mouth.

Ok for low-impact activities
This ECOHUB Hydration Pack has a lot of potential. It is a good option for walking and hiking, but the lack of a wist strap means I won't be using it for running or horseback riding. What I love: 1. The water bladder is totally leak proof and easy to fill. 2. The tube has a quick connect so you can easily remove it for cleaning. 3. The recycled materials. What could be improved: 1. The straps are not the best cut for women with a bust. They pull into my armpits no matter how I adjust the straps. A waist strap would help by taking the weight off the shoulders. 2. It needs some loops or tabs to hold the drinking tube. The only option I could get to work was tucking it under the straps as shown in the first picture. I don't want the tube bouncing around. 3. Its a tight squeeze to insert the water bladder when it is full. It works, but I can't see a reason for it to be so tight. 4. I thought the pocket on the strap would be a great place for my phone, but I can barely squeeze it in there so it doesn't work. 5. Although it does have a cargo net for a helmet or towel, it is NOT expandable like all of my High Sierra water packs. The bottom line is that this is a decent pack that could be improved with a few changes.

Not a bad try but could use some improvements
First, kudos for the light weight. Even with the 2L bag full of water I still barely felt it on my back. The initial adjusting/fitting was much more difficult than shown in the video. I had to use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the little clips holding the sternum strap onto the loops on the shoulder straps in order to get them off and then again to get them back on in the new position. Getting the filled bladder inside its dedicated pouch was also pretty difficult, at least on first use -- this may work itself out with further use, but maybe put a hole in the pouch where the water valve sits? I didn't see this recommendation but I do recommend washing the bladder and hose out with water and a small bit of detergent to help get the "new vinyl" smell/taste out. Getting my phone into the front open pocket worked, but the opening is only 2.75 in wide and my phone with case is 3.25 in wide, so there was a prominent bulge on the side of the pocket over the surface of the shoulder strap and I worry about extra wear and tear on that pocket (I was able to get my phone in and out fairly easily, though). Also regarding the pockets, yes, there are several but the easily-accessible pockets on the shoulder straps are both pretty small. The rest of the pockets are in the same compartment as the bladder pouch, and this gets crowded pretty quickly. I tested mine out at a local park on two clear, 65F, low-humidity days (I live in Louisiana so those are pretty rare). Like I mentioned above, the weight was barely noticeable. Despite the breathable fabric I still had a good patch of sweat where this backpack pressed against my back. The water did stay fairly cool, though, so the insulation on the bladder pouch is adequate. All that said, I would recommend this product in mild climates for short outings when the wearer doesn't have need to bring a large amount of items with them. If you live in warmer areas and tend to carry more than the bare minimum of stuff with you, this may not be your best choice.
