nabi XD 32GB

These nabi tablets are excellent for teens and pre-teens. The features on these tablets are awesome. The wife and i purchased 1 for our youngest and the older daughters liked it so we bought two more. Excellent Christmas presents!

My mom got this for my 6 year olds birthday. The nabi works fine. Just thought it was weird that the older nabi's have a child safe browser and Google Play Store, but the XD does not. Would be better with Google Play in my opinion.

Not bad for the price

I have had 2 previous Nabi xd before but NOT from this seller. We absolutely love them. However this Nabi xd from this seller is definately NOT the same. It's super slow not matter what u do. Pulling up any apps. Extremely Disappointed !! I recommend to anyone to only buy PRIME ! Otherwise u get what u pay for.

Six months later software messed up. Not loading up. It performed bad from beginning

works well, very fast good for price, my son can watch youtube, play games, watch netflix and much more! it aso comes with google play, very good for my son

I got this for my toddler because it's faster, has a larger screen, and more drive space for apps than almost every other kids tablet. If you get one of those 8GB kids tablets you'll soon be upset that you can't install any more apps even if it does have an SD slot because most kids tablets don't allow you to move apps to the SD card. W/ this 32GB model you'll have more than enough room plus it has a SD slot for you to load up w/ videos. We're very happy w/ the tablet. I purchased the bumper case straight from Nabi (couldn't find it on Amazon) & the combo is more than tough enough for our 3yro. No it does not have Nabi mode, who the hell would want that restrictive thing anyway? What it does have is Google Play store & you can install any android app of in. You can also install Amazon Underground & install those apps. The nabi mode tablets can't do this. for this 1 reason alone, this is the Nabi to buy. This unit has a different charger (heavier duty w/ a nice plug) than the older Nabis so I haven't had any issues like I did w/ our 1st Nabi. battery life is just fine especially considering how big the screen is, I have it on full brightness, & I don't have any power saving stuff turned on. honestly, if my son kills the battery he's been on it way too long & I should have put it away sooner. our older nabi would die too soon & then you'd be left w/ an upset child who doesn't quite understand that daddy has to charge it. to be fair, I would have purchased the Elev8 if anyone had it because spec wise it's much better but I'm glad we have this bigger screen. the Elev8 is only 8". hopefully now that mattel purchased Nabi they'll re-release it. by the way, I know it says it's for Tweens but if your kid is that old, buy them an adult tablet. they are probably better at using it than you are anyway. what I wanted was the best kids tablet, & this fit the bill. so why not 5 stars? sometimes it loses the wifi signal & doesn't know it. it says it has a signal but doesn't. turning wifi off & on again fixes it so for an adult, no bid deal. for a 3yro, god forbid it happens in the middle of some lightning mcqueen unboxing / finger family video because daddy can't fix it fast enough. I've been hoping for an update but the last one was a couple years ago.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend a nabi tablet to anyone! We have owned several tablets over the years and love our Samsung tablets. Thought we'd try something new with a nabi - big mistake! We purchased the nabi XD 32GB and less than 6 months later it stopped turning on and stopped charging. We called nabi and they said to send it in to be fixed or replaced - note: we had to pay for shipping. Four weeks later, still no word and no tablet. I called to check on status and they said it should just be a few more days. Week 5 tablet arrives in the mail, but it is the same broken tablet we sent in - not fixed. I called again to find out what happened and they said to send it back in and they'd replace it - note: this time they paid for shipping. About 2 weeks later, we get in the mail a refurbished tablet that is half the size of our XD. Again we call to see what happened and we're told they don't have anymore XD's to send out. Tough luck!
