Earthborn Elements, Soap Flakes, 1 Lb

These Earthborn Elements soap flakes are exactly what I needed for making my own non-toxic cleaning and laundry products. The 2-gallon bucket is a generous size and should last me quite a while, even with regular use. The flakes dissolve easily in warm water and don’t have any overpowering scent—just that clean, natural soap smell. I’ve been using them to make homemade laundry detergent and all-purpose cleaner for around the farm, and they’ve worked great. My clothes come out fresh and clean, even after getting dirtied up in the goat shed or chicken coop. I also love that these are pure and free from unnecessary additives. That’s a big deal for us since we’re trying to keep things natural around the animals and for our family. The resealable bucket is sturdy and easy to store, which is another plus for anyone doing bulk DIY cleaning. If you’re into homesteading, natural living, or just want a simple and effective cleaning base, this is definitely worth having on hand.

So far, so good! I made my laundry detergent using 2 cups of this soap flakes, a cup of borax and a cup of Washing Soda, as well as 10 drops of fragrance, and it'd been solid. I've done about 4 loads of laundry, and what I wanted to make sure of, was that it dissolved nicely into the wash. I wash all my clothes with hot water, I will say that. So I cant vouch for how it runs on a cold cycle. I also tested out just the soap with some water, to see if it gets suds. It does! I will be buying this again!

Good product. Use for dish washing

Soap flakes work well, came well packaged, and were delivered by the scheduled day. I purchased it because it does not have many ingredients and additives, it is cost effective, convenient as it saves time and effort from manually grating soap, and it is well packaged, so it is easy to store and maintain product humidity level. I also like that it works well. The clothes come out clean, it has not caused sking sensitivity for us, and it is unscented. It can also be used to clean bathroom with appropriate formula. Two ways to avoid issues regarding undissolved flakes in the washing machine are to either use the hot water cycle, or to previously dissolve the soap flakes in a small ampunt of hot water before adding it to the washing machine. I plan on continuing to purchase this product.

Exactly as expected. Exactly what I needed. The bucket size is perfect. I purchased this product along with a few others in similar packaging to make my own homemade laundry soap. The smell on this was very clean but also not a toxicy perfumey smell. Definitely will be purchasing again

Product arrived damaged /opened ! The soap flakes work very well I mix them with 2 cups washing soda, 2 cups borax, and 1 cup of soap flakes for homemade laundry soap . Works better than anything store bought and without all the nasty chemicals and dyes!

This soap is REALLY GOOD; but no scent at all!! It's very finely ground, so you don't need much! It's lasted me a long time by mixing it with some scented soap!

I use this to make my own laundry soap and I love it! It’s non scented and the flakes are small enough to dissolve in the washer. I think this tub is a good amount for the money spent. Using these soap flakes I feel like my laundry gets cleaner as opposed to other soaps I’ve tried in the past. My clothes feel fresh. Will purchase this again!
