which wire cutters are good to cut this?

I use just a standard dike wire cutter. As long as it is rated for steel wire. It will usually have a size limit, but the steel leader wire I use is well below any limit I have seen. When I use this wire for my train car parts, such as grab irons, I trim it on the inside with a flush cutting one. Hope this helps.

What pound test is the LC3

Good Question, I can't find anything on the package that tells you the pound but the customer questions says it's 30 pounds. My guess it that 30 pounds is correct. I would not use anything heavier for kingfish or other size smaller fish.

What is the finish of this wire? The coffee colored finish or the untreated (bright) finish? The picture of the label is not legible...

Great leader

I used this wire to make a leader when fishing for snapper who have very sharp teeth. It's also works great for holding on to Redfish who put up a big fight.
