I was expecting more. But it’s only few pages.

I received the book in this torn condition ... very very disappointing

My daughter learnt several key lessons from this book, like - she became a big sister once baby came home, she needs to take permission before picking up the baby, she can help out with simple baby chores and she is unique, equally important to the parents... Simple and easy to explain to young girls who've just got a sibling.

Lovely book for a new big sister.

One of the best books about becoming a sibling and having a new baby. Prepared my 3 yr old for becoming a sister. She felt empowered and learned about babies and would "teach" me. She would tell me what to do with the baby when he cried before he was born. When he was born, his crying didn't bother her either. Not sure if that had anything to do with this book. It's simple and sweet and the baby is boyish, but could be a girl too. No negative feelings at all, which was important to us. The only issue I had with it was that it didn't show breastfeeding, but had a bottle and that's something I'm quite passionate about normalizing.

We recently purchased this children's book to help prepare our daughter for the arrival of her new baby sister. And I'm thrilled to say that it has been a huge success! The book is beautifully illustrated and tells a sweet story about a big sister welcoming a new baby to the family. What I love most about this book is that it's designed to help children understand and process their feelings about the new addition to the family. It's perfect for our daughter, who is eager to learn about her new sibling and what it will be like to have a little sister. We've been able to point out pictures of Mama, Dad, and our daughter, and then say "and that's your new baby sister!" It's been such a wonderful way to connect our daughter with her new sibling and help her feel more excited about the arrival. Our daughter absolutely loves this book and has asked to read it multiple times a day. It's clear that she's really enjoying the story and is starting to grasp the concept of having a new sibling. We're so pleased with this book and highly recommend it to any family expecting a new baby.

I’ve read this book to my daughter every single day for the past 3 months, she loves it. It has a nice story to prepare the toddler for receiving a sibling.
