One Slice heats up both toast slots
Toaster looks and works, except the "single slice" option doesn't work. Both of the toaster slots turn on and heat up even when I specifically choose "1" slice.

Each slice of toast is evenly golden.
Toaster is very consistent in degrees of toasting. Has a counter to tell you when toast will be popping up. It is very attractive in my opinion. It also has alternate options for bagels or whatever. The best setting for golden toast is #2. I have been very satisfied with this purchase.
