If a larger size is ordered, can it be worn over a winter coat? Anyone have experience with this?!

I have a small and wear it over a thick hoodie sweatshirt, but it is borderline snug. the flaps are Velcro so you can adjust size at the waist. if it's over a coat, you might try the biggest size and use the Velcro to tighten it.

What are the dimensions for "child" size?

16 inches long and waste going from 24 inches to 34 inches. The reason the waist is that big is if it's going over a bulky winter coat

Does the pocket have a zipper?

Yes, the pocket (which is on the underside of the vest closest to the body) has a zipper. Worth noting that the zipper teeth are not covered and may rub on the garment worn underneath.

What class of safety is this, I'm looking for something for work

I use for biking later into the evening. Not due if work related ratings
