Chessnut Move – Robotic Chessboard with Plastic Pieces, Self-Moving Pieces Simultaneously, Full Piece Recognition, Built-in Chess Engine, Voice Control & Video Integration

Bought this because I decided to return to an old hobby long forgotten. Living alone and not wanting to either embarrass myself or seek others, the computerized board, self-moving pieces and 8 levels of difficulty make this ideal for spontaneous or round-the-clock playing. So far, both the board and individual pieces work fine, and they were well packaged and came with easy instructions.

I’m honestly so impressed with this chessboard! The pieces move on their own, which is such a cool feature. The board is also very well made and feels sturdy and nicely weighted when you pick it up. My son loves playing chess, but it’s not always easy for him to find someone to play with. Now he can play by himself and still have an opponent that makes moves automatically. It’s been such a convenient and fun way for him to practice. I got this as a back-to-school gift for him, and I think it was a great choice. He was really excited about it, and it’s definitely something he can enjoy for a long time. Highly recommend it for kids who love chess!

This doesn’t work at all. The board won’t charge, won’t connect to wifi, and won’t even turn off.

This chessboard is incredible,it would be better if the pieces charged while sitting on the board but other then that its great!! Not to mention it gives u the ability to use different apps with it!

Is the board great - Yes! Did the 1st board I received work - No. Did I get the board on time- No. The experience from ordering the board to receiving it was really frustrating. Purely due to the poor communication. The product itself is amazing.

J’hésitais entre les pièces bois et les pièces plastiques. En les découvrant à réception, les pièces plastiques sont de qualité, et aspect mat et bien finies. Tout fonctionne à merveille, simple d’utilisation. L’autonomie des pièces est excellente et celle du plateau très correcte. L’IA utilisée est suffisamment dosée. Une super expérience pour un set hors norme.

Me gustó mucho. Llegó antes de lo esperado pues tenía fecha del 21 al 26 de agosto 2026 y ya llegó. En buenas condiciones el empaque. El repartidor muy amable y atento. Excelente empresa Paquete Express. Ya revise mi producto y está fabuloso es muy grande creo el tablero mide entre 60 y 65 cm. Las piezas también son de buen tamaño y muy bonitas. No lo he probado pero pienso hacerlo pronto para vivir la experiencia. Estoy muy feliz con la empresa de paquetería Paquete Express y en especial con Amazon. Muchas gracias

Dieses Roboter-Schachbrett war ein ganz besonderes Geburtstagsgeschenk für meinen Mann. Aufgrund des höheren Anschaffungspreises hätte er es sich selbst wahrscheinlich nie gegönnt – umso größer war die Freude und die gelungene Überraschung beim Auspacken! Die Technik des Chessnut Move ist einfach faszinierend und zieht jeden sofort in ihren Bann: Dass sich die gegnerischen Figuren wie von Geisterhand völlig selbstständig über das Brett bewegen, sorgt auch nach Tagen noch für absolute Begeisterung. Man hat das Gefühl, gegen einen echten, unsichtbaren Gegner am Tisch zu sitzen. Ein riesiger Pluspunkt, der uns erst nach dem Auspacken so richtig bewusst wurde: Man ist absolut nicht auf ein Smartphone oder eine App angewiesen! Das Brett hat einen eingebauten Schachcomputer (KI-Engines wie Stockfish). Mein Mann kann das Handy also komplett ausschalten, sich an den Tisch setzen und direkt gegen das Brett spielen. Das ist perfekt, um einfach mal ganz ohne Bildschirm und digitale Ablenkung abzuschalten. Wenn er die App doch mal nutzt (z. B. für Online-Partien), klappt die technische Umsetzung im Hintergrund ebenfalls absolut fehlerfrei. Die Verbindung steht stabil, die Züge werden blitzschnell übertragen und das Zusammenspiel funktioniert einwandfrei. Ja, das Brett ist eine Investition, aber die Verarbeitung, die durchdachte Technik und das einzigartige Spielerlebnis rechtfertigen den Preis vollkommen. Wer einem Schachfan eine unvergessliche Freude machen möchte, liegt hier absolut richtig. Von uns gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung und verdiente 5 Sterne!

This is absolutely incredible and works as advertised. The whole family enjoys it and I'm able to play with my son and grandsons.

El pedido ha llegado bien empaquetado y en perfectas condiciones. He jugado poco, pero es alucinante ver cómo se colocan solas las piezas y jugar contra la IA sobre un tablero real. Es como jugar contra un fantasma. El tablero y las piezas son de calidad. Absolutamente recomendable aunque cueste algo caro. La compra merece la pena.
