Better than Bose and the rest
Better than Bose and the rest. This thing is very loud, it has tweeters for crisp highs, mid-range speakers in front, and an awesome sub woofer in the back for deep, loud, bass.It is just what I was looking for.I order the Bose Soundlink III a week before ordering this, and I was REALLY disappointed.I have a Bose computer system with a sub that I bought over 5 years ago, and it sounds great. So I was expecting the same quality in a bluetooth speaker from the Soundlink III.It was not loud at all, no bass, and it sounded muffled and distorted. This Kicker system was way cheaper, and is 100 times better.Plus it has an equalizer and can't be knocked over. The Bluetooth range is great as well.I have no complaints. All I can say it that it isn't wireless (too much power, would drain very quick if it was chargeable)And it's not as small or light as you would expect, you need to use both hands when carrying it.Other than that, this thing just makes me smile. For the price this is a steal, best stereo/sounddock/bluetooth/home system out there.

Great Amphitheater System with Wireless Bluetooth-Love It!!!
(UPDATE 11/27/2018 Five stars down to four. I bought this 2 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately the only way I can get bluetooth to work now is to go to blue tooth settings on phone and select the amphitheater icon while at the same time holding synch button on stereo itself. Blue tooth wasn't perfect before, but now it's a pain. Hopes this helps others synch theirs. I still love the sound)I have had the Kicker Amphitheater BT2 Wireless for about a month or so. I love it. The sound is terrific. I am not a professional when it comes to reviewing sound, but the bass is solid and the sound crisp and clear. If I were to crank it up to the highest level my neighbors would complain. It can get loud without going to the maximum volume. It is very easy to synch to iPhone so I can listen to Spotify, MLB at Bat or any other app on phone. Of course, this would be the case for any device that has bluetooth. The size is perfect for a small table. Sleek looking and fits right into living area. I can't think of anything negative to say. I'm glad that I bought it. I use it all the time. In fact it's on as I write this. Five Stars is not enough for this fine product.

new kid doesn't cut it....keep it oldskool
This thing pounds....I had the original iKick 501 and the old one pounds better....this one is all fancy with the app and Bluetooth....but with the possibility of sound distortion Bluetooth mode is really not that loud compared to using an aux or the usb for your device...but makes an awesome surround system jus hook it up with aux.....

Bluetooth sucks!
The Bluetooth sucks on this speaker. The sound is great if it works without breaking up. My phone can be right beside or far away and it still does not have a good connection. I have two one that is Bluetooth and one that is not, I love the first one that is not Bluetooth! I would not recommend this one.

Best Portable Streaming device.
I am a big Kicker fan, I have bought 2 of the 501's, added a Logitech bluetooth device to one of the older units, and when Amphitheater with bluetooth came out, I jumped on the new unit. Sound is large, makes the Bose and other units twice the price sound like battery units. I Put a extra battery and inverter in both my boats and use the kicker for great sound. Front Fish Seat is a Kicker station. Bass not included. With a 4 stroke engine great sound at cruise speeds. You have to keep your phone out of a case or your pocket, cuz the bluetooth will skip. I use it outside all the time. I have even DJ'd a deck party with a pair of them at our Marina for 100 people. I have a Waterproof storage bag, but make sure unplug the DC plug when you store as the contact will fail if left in. I have had to replace a few DC adapters. My Home theater system has a set of Klipshorns so I like a big sound.

JAMS OUT THE TUNES!!! >:-D
Unbelievable, how can such amazing sound come from such a small area? First off, the amphitheater itself is no where as big as I thought it would be which is great cuz it doesn't take up much space. 2nd is the sound quality. This is hands down the best table top radio ive ever heard. From low end bass up thru the mids and out the highs, the sound is very full and rich on any type of music you put to it. Im still blown away by it every time I turn it on. Pairing to bluetooth takes 2 seconds literally an it has decent distance too. There are only 2 complaints thats I have. First is that the app is kinda buggy with no volume control which is kinda irritating, 2nd is no lcd or screen of any kind. Would be nice to look at the unit to see what song is playing but thats just me nit picking lol. Overall a very sweet unit and jams out good tunes.

Couldn't ask for more!!
OMG! I've had a Kicker for years, maybe more than a decade. It was like a home for my iPod. Trouble was that after some number of years, the iPod just wouldn't sit right in the seat and it was a major PIA to get it to connect. Even when I could get it to connect well enough to play, it wouldn't charge. This bluetooth Kicker is just the schizzle!! I have my iPod plugged in across the room, so it is always charged. The iPod plays through the bluetooth pairing (which was very simple), so it never attaches physically to the Kicker. The sound is Da BOMB!! I would love a Bose sound system, but this, in my opinion, is the same awesome sound for a fraction of the price. Deep base you can feel in your bones. Good low volume playing. Awesome high volume playing without distortion. I couldn't ask for anything more!!

Really nice with some room to improve
It's a really solid one piece system. I love kicker, however I was somewhat underwhelmed by the bass. If this had a battery that let it play for even a few hours it would be Hands down the best thing on the market. One thing this is missing is an optical audio jack. For it wanting to be your sole speaker it really should have that input, I'd love to put my ps4 into it. Instead I'm relegated to headphone jack from my tv.
