Little difference
They’re cheaper. The first thing I noticed was the coarse winding of the media. Next is that the cartridge installs crooked in the housing. My housing is clear so that’s how I noticed the off center position while I tightened it up. This may not matter but I like how the more expensive ones fit on center as you tighten them. The “city” well water in my area is filthy with fine dirt so my filters often clog up in a month, we call it county living. Time will tell if I decide to continue saving a few bucks on these crooked filters or not

Great filter for keeping the water flowing
These filters allow water to flow through. I cleaned the housing and dropped in the filter without any problems. It was easy to replace the former filter. It’s been several months since I replaced the filter and it appears to be lasting longer than previous store bought filters. I am very pleased with this product.
